I think this book is essential reading for Latter-day Saints. Perhaps more accurately, Hans Verlan Andersen's writings in general are essential reading. He truly got it. He understood what the principles of Liberty are. He understood the Constitution. And he understood conspiracy and communism incredibly well. People who dislike this book are people who themselves misunderstand these subjects. Andersen was a very close personal friend of Ezra Taft Benson and the two shared near identical views. Benson hugely supported his books, and I think they are worthy of every Latter-day Saint. I particularly enjoy Andersen's explanation of the idea that our political choices tell the world, more than anything else we do, who we really are in our hearts and what we truly believe in. The book is worth reading simply to read that portion. People just don't understand that they will be judged in the next life for how they acted politically in this sphere of existence. But for Latter-day Saints, this shouldn't be a surprise. We earned our way to earth by standing for the Father's plan of agency in the pre-earth life. It stands to reason, then, that we won't make it to Heaven if we don't also stand for that same plan of agency in mortality. Andersen understands this point perfectly and does a superb job of explaining it. Do yourself a favor and purchase this book and learn from a great man.

The world is for sure in turmoil because of a lack of interest in government by the people. We all feel we can't do a thing about the problems of government so we do nothing. In the book it is pointed out that we as citizens can't just stick our head in the sand and do nothing. It is our civic duty to be involved or else we will be held accountable. Socialism is a horrible thing and if left unchecked it will slowly take us over as a nation. I think everyone needs to read this book to understand what we are facing in the future as a nation. If our political leaders forget to remember that the people elected them and fail to represent the people then they need to be removed, including the President of the United States.

No wonder Ezra Taft Benson frequently recommended this book in this very real fight for liberty and free agency. This is one of the greatest books ever written. A must read for all truth seekers to increase your knowledge and testimony of the truth and motivate you to continue to sound the warning cry more than ever before.
