I had no brothers. I was the one who heard on a regular basis, " Where did you get the idea to do That?" I didn't have cohorts either. So my exploits were less grand, but he has set me to thinking how I could have amped some things to wondrous levels.
A wonderfully happy read. Thank you.
(Of course depending upon the degree of idiocy associated with the particular escapade at hand!)
Basically, it signaled the beginnings of the death knell of learning through physical trial and error, often enhanced by the benefit of social interaction with several of your "best friends"...which would be replaced by the solitude of technology where a vast majority of the kids of today have evolved into techno-nerds that have not developed the upper body strength to lift a broomstick above their heads....but, can crush a Volkswagen with their overdeveloped thumbs!
Finally, and personally, I am glad to be a product of this era and particularly proud to have earned a couple of mentions in some of the escapades detailed in Phil's book.
Keep writing Phubert!
