About the Author
At the age of 30, Bernd Daub acquired some simple darkroom equipment and his passion for photography was ignited. He is a self-taught photographer and is continually developing his skills and adjusting his technique. Daub does not seek out specific images or try to fit his photographs into particular categories, but rather carries his camera with him so he can capture images spontaneously in his everyday life. He uses small- and medium-format cameras with black-and-white or infrared film. He prints his images on 30 x 34 cm photo paper and occasionally modifies his images in the darkroom.

As of this writing, it's a bit pricey in my opinion. But I'm glad I made this purchase. It truly taught me quite a few useful things.
Daub writes that most, if not all, people would like the simple approach to life, and this includes photography. Everyday life is not simple - only the individual's desire to simplify his day is obvious.
Daub says that it doesn't really matter if it's a cell phone camera or the camera bought by the exit of a drug store, pictures can be taken with the quality results that professionals put out. Technology need not scare anybody. Simplification should be your focus. Just like the focus of this text, simplicity in taking pictures is possible.
So, get familiar with your camera device and throw away the complexities of technology. It can be done. And, it can be done based on the simple approach. Learning your cameras buttons will help, of course, but this guide will show you the simple and basic way to take good pictures.
The author even includes the cheap camera you find on the entrance shelves of a drug store. He argues that you can take good pictures with a ten dollar camera. Don't believe you can? Buy this title and give it a try. I'm convinced!
