Nice-sized scale with a high capacity!

I got this particular scale for two reasons. One is that is has a high capacity of 22 lbs. My current scale does not go that high, and I’ve run into the limit once or twice. The second reason is that unlike other models, this scale has an elevated surface above the LCD, so it won’t be covered when weighing something that’s larger than the surface. It’s a problem that I’ve encountered with my current flat scale.

My first reaction was that it was small… Well, smaller than my current scale. My second reaction was that, while I wasn’t sure about this when ordering because I thought it might be bulky, it is not, and would be easy to find a place to keep it.

The scale is packed very well, with foam strips between the weighing surface and the scale to prevent it from movement and being damaged in transit. There is very little non-recyclable material in the packaging.

The LCD is nice and bright. The instruction card is pretty small, though it does explain usage, which is pretty obvious. One thing that is not mentioned in the instructions is that to turn off the scale, you have hold the power button for a few seconds. If you don’t use the scale it will turn off automatically after 2 minutes. There is a hold button, shared with the units button. The instructions don’t describe this button, but in the reviews I read that it will keep the scale on for 5 minutes of non-use instead of 2 minutes. This is helpful if you’re retrieving or cutting ingredients, or want the tare value to remain for a longer period of time.

I happened to have a 50g weight for calibration on another scale I have. I checked the scale and in fact it read 50 grams in most locations on the surface. If I moved the weight to a corner or edge, if it did vary, it never went below 49g or above 51g, within the tolerance of the unit. I’m confident the weight will be accurate.

So far I am very pleased with this scale, and plan to stop using the larger Polder scale I’ve been using until now.

So I purchased this about a year and half ago and have used it almost every day since and it has held up perfectly and is one of my go to kitchen tools for my weight loss journey. When counting calories it is best to weigh foods for most accurate calorie count and I do this day in and day out multiple times a day and I still haven’t had to change the first battery I put in this scale. I have a spare battery tucked away that came with it but have yet to use to. I love the color and I love the size. Easy to store and travel with if needed - I’ve taken this on multiple vacations and weekend trips. The buttons are more touch style than a press style so it did take me a couple uses to get the hang of that but now I can quickly switch between measurement units and zero out the scale. It wipes clean easily too which is nice. It has little rubberized feet to keep it from sliding on your counter which is also a nice well thought out feature. When I purchased this scale I figured for the price it would be a great starter scale and that I would just upgrade once I got the hang of weighing foods and by then it would have stopped working…. Nope! Still going and still awesome! If you’re trying to lose weight and are considering weighing your food this is a great scale to get you started. You can’t beat the price and the multiple color options are nice! It’s very basic but it’s absolutely fabulous anyways. I highly highly recommend this scale.

If you're in the market for a food scale, I would highly recommend this one. I recently purchased it and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. In fact, I would give it a solid five stars.

One of the things that I appreciate about this food scale is its long-lasting battery life. I have had issues in the past with food scales constantly draining their batteries, which can be frustrating and inconvenient. However, this scale has held up really well and I have not had to replace the battery nearly as often as I did with my previous scale.

Additionally, I love the sleek design of this scale. It is modern and stylish, and looks great in my kitchen. It is also very easy to use, with a simple interface that allows me to quickly and accurately measure my ingredients.

We took chance on this and couldn't be more pleased. This scale is a fraction of the cost of some more expensive and more functional scales. While we appreciate the easier to view, pull away, and backlit display of a more expensive scale for cooking we love the lightweight, accurate, and simple operation of this affordable, slim, accurate, and elegant scale. It's very satisfying to find something affordable that does not look or feel cheap. The packaging was a fine example of elegant, simple, and recyclable packing and the extra button cell was a generous and thoughtful touch. This brand is now on my radar screen and I wouldn't hesitate to try their other products too.

Very thin and light

Despite the specs given in the product description, I was very surprised with how thin and light this scale was. This isn’t a problem but I’m almost afraid to put this thing on the counter for fear of breaking it. Another review I read mentions how the buttons are smooth to the surface and have to tactile feel and this is precisely the case. I don’t find this to be an issue but understand how others could. The description also suggest a glass top to the scale but I don’t believe there is glass anywhere on this thing, just highly polished plastic. Lastly, there were not instructions included with the scale.
Despite these things I am satisfied with the unit. It stores away most anywhere in the kitchen and does everything I need or expected it to.

This scale is really nice. It has touch sensitive buttons, so you don't have to press down hard on the buttons.
It's also really lightweight, slim, and it hardly takes up any space.

When I ordered this scale I thought I would hardly use it, but I am using it every single time I eat!

I also pair the scale with MyFitnessPal.
If you want to keep track of your calories, this is highly needed.

Great product, serves it's purpose. But I'm very disappointed with the Amazon purchase experience. I purchased the item SG$67.99 and free international delivery because i signed up Prime. I purchased 2 weeks ago.

Today, trying to buy same item for a friend, the item is SG$54 + SG$13 delivery (works out to about S$67). The item price difference is $13 (almost the same as delivery that was Free for me). Just feel a little cheated. 5 stars for great product. 1 start for bad pricing experience.
