After 6 years of being divorced she wants him back. Only Jesse's pregnant with the twins and Tara knows that Ty will never leave her...or will he? Once again Tara wiggles her way in like a snake to every other page, I mean every aspect of their lives and Ty? Oh, he's just fine with it. She asks so politely HE CAN'T SAY NO. Tara has a freak out session and who's there to pick her up and carry her to her bedroom? Ty. Who's there to take her to her new home? Ty. Who says its ok for her to take the baby from his shoulder? Ty. All while Jesse is watching. What she doesn't see is the kiss Ty and Tara share and how Ty still feels the bonds of the marriage he shared w/ Tara. When he finds out she's done another scheming trick to get Calder Land he locks her out and she banks her anger but it eventually leads to....Ty's death and Jesse is alone to raise the kids by herself.
Ty is the worst male character in this series (and that's saying something considering Buck Haskell and Mr. O'Rourke). If he would've kept Tara out of his life he would've had a long life. Why he was so weak and had absolutely no spine I put on Maggie's door. She had a chip on her shoulder about going to college and then she advocated for Tara the snake. Anything in opposition to Chase. And for the college to be in Texas? Why not Montana? So many little choices added up over time to get Maggie's son killed before he was 45 leaving Chase, Jessie and the twins (with no father). And one last thing about Tara - she ends up hearing about Ty's death, comes racing to the Homestead, goes room to room screaming "Where is he?" before Jessie finally slaps her. I'd've shoved her down the stairs making sure I'd snapped her neck and claimed home invasion as a defense to Logan Echohawk. She needed to be taken out of the series by a plane accident or something but why Janet Daily kept Tara alive to cause trouble for the next generation (Laura - Ty&Jessie's daughter) is beyond me. Tara is a character you absolutely hate and there's no love to hate about her.
