I Really Shouldn't Rate This Product But....

As the title reads. I really shouldn't be rating this product due to the fact that when it arrived, it was a total mess. All of the chocolate bars were melted and ruined due to either the Texas heat or where the product was stored in shipping. I have eaten this product before and its quite good so maybe I shouldn't be so hard in the review but you would think anything that would melt wouldn't be offered or shipped and stored differently. I did comment in Amazons packaging review section about this particular issue and they gave me a full refund on the purchase. So with all of that, buyer beware if you live in a hot part of the country or order it during the summer. In my case, I just never considered the heat factor.
Bottom Line: If you are considering buying this product 1) It's a great product and 2) factor in the final destination

If you don't like very dark chocolate, I doubt you'll like this - it's very dark and far more bitter than sweet.

However, I DO like dark chocolate, and I love coffee, so I thought these bars were amazing. You pop a piece in your mouth and get an immediate burst of espresso - the dark, strong coffee taste is outstanding. As the chocolate starts to melt, the coffee flavor is replaced with bitter, decadent chocolate.

This is a great deal, especially if you're planning on keeping all 10 bars to yourself (like I do). A little piece of one bar goes a very long way. I should warn you, though - these bars are definitely caffeinated! If I ate a whole one, I'd be lit up for a week (and I drink coffee like it's my job, so it takes more than a little caffeine to get me going).

I would definitely get these again.

I just love this Green & Black's Espresso - Organic Dark Chocolate with Coffee.
I have tried other dark chocolates in the past, but nothing as good as this one.
The seller was very kind enough to notify me that they will not ship my order
right away when the weather was still extremely hot - since the chocolates might
just melt during shipment, I really appreciated that. I didn't mind waiting another
week or so - since I had a great time indulging with the chocolates when they
finally arrived. Will buy again soon!

This was my favorite candy bar and I was disappointed when it was discontinued. I was happy to order an entire box before the inventory was completely depleted and I savored every bite until my stash was gone. I wish Green & Black would resume production of this smooth-tasting espresso chocolate; I still haven't found a substitute that matches the quality of this bar, although I have found an "almost-as-good" replacement..

This item is now hard to find, Whole Foods and others stopped carrying this flavor. Thank goodness for Amazon! I stock up and keep them in my freezer. I melt chunks of it in my microwave,then add hot milk to make an incredible mocha. Take that, Starbucks !!

The chocolates do not taste as good as the ones I had purchased from a store. They seem less fresh. Perhaps this is because of how they are stored. Or perhaps because the expiration date is July this year.
