After reading the reviews I hesitated to buy this, but I had some late season tomato plants doing really well and I wanted to have fresh tomatoes for Thanksgiving. It took me one cup of coffee and about 45 minutes to fully assemble. The directions are just a picture, but if you look at it closely, it is actually pretty accurate. All the parts were in bags by type, and I kept them in their bag on the shop bench in my garage as I did the assembly in my garage out of the wind. The parts went together easily. It is a surprisingly strong frame once assembled. The cover fit over the frame easily. I stepped inside and lifted it a few inches and walked it out to the location next to the garage. I put 12x12 landscape pavers on the inside atop the bottom frame poles, making plenty of weight to hold it down. I tied the cover down at each corner with the provided lines and stakes. It gets nice and warm on a sunny day, and my tomato plants are thriving.
I was worried about durability. Last night the wind blew 25-35 with gusts to 44 for over 8 hours, with 4.5 inches of rain overnight and trees down and power out in town. I expected the little greenhouse would be a wreck. This AM there she stood, good as new, tomatoes were just fine with no damage to their vines. The plastic cover does "skirt out" at the base about 4 inches, so I put a couple bricks on the plastic each side to keep the wind from getting underneath. It got cold a couple nights and put a drop light in there and in the AM there was no frost on the outside. I read about all the problems people have had....mine is just fine. It does not say anything in the directions about weighing it down, using a droplight, or any of that other common sense. It is a good product for people who need an inexpensive solution and have a little common sense.
