Great for Moms! I got this book for every tween and teen i know, perfect gift!! Finally a book about the environmental that i could read and work on with my kids. We really enjoyed GreenMyparents, and were able to find 5 ways to put this program to work at home. Myoldest son, who loves science, became very excited about saving energy, and learned to read the electricity bill in order to track our progress aqnd how much money we had saved as a family. Even my father in law, who seems to not believe in "global warming" warmed up to this book when iwe told him we were saving well over $100 together!
Amazing. a few weeks into GreenMyParents and my kids are running around the house before bed, and before we leave for school, making sure all the lights are out and no "energy vampires" are sucking energy out of our home. so cute! even his little brother is into it already. this is exactly the kind of positive approach to involving students and kids in the eco changes that we need... positive angle and fun!
