I was so excited to find these green Szechuan dried peppers on here. I love Chinese food and these are great for Sichuan dishes to add authenticity. It’s an acquired taste though because it has sort of a numbing effect on your tongue. They were really fresh out of the package and with this quantity will last a long time if stored in an airtight container

wow, First thing I noted when I opened the bag was a strong aroma that meaning this is real sichuan green pepper , it is a really strong! this was my first time to try a green peppercorn, I would not have popped one husk into my mouth if I've known how a little one numbed my tongue. the husk gives numbing sensation and tingly feeling. flavor and numbing effects are strong.
