UPDATE - 12/1/19: 5 mos later and they are still in GREAT condition, I'm not sure how there are so many bad reviews for this set of pots and pans. That's too bad for all those people, but you really have to make sure you take care of them and handle them well. It looks like other people use high heat and are just plain rough with them. If you do not use ceramic correctly, yeah, they will not last long and will turn black because of TOO HIGH of heat and using oils that can ruin them. You are not supposed to go over medium heat with these unless of course, you are boiling water in which case, they are fine on high heat (in my experience). Please remember, these are NOT Teflon therefore, you cannot expect them to cook like Teflon... which uses toxic chemicals to make their pans non-stick. I highly recommend this product and encourage buyers to try these out!!

I absolutely LOVE these ceramic pots and pans! I did research on them after purchasing and apparently you're only supposed to use certain kinds of oils and even water. So I use avocado oil on them, but you only have to use a very small amount, if any at all. There are a couple chips off the silver rim, but they are minor and I don't care about that part chipping. To keep them in good condition, be sure to NOT stack them on top of each other because that can ruin the ceramic finish- I also read this online. What I did is keep the cardboard that came in the packaging with them and stack them that way.By Dendrophile on July 26, 2019
