Cleans Up Like a Dream

My wife and I had been using a heavy cast iron skillet to sear steaks on one side, flipping them over and placing them in the oven at 425 degrees to finish cooking. This created a lot of burned on grease that stuck to the cast iron skillet like glue. The steaks always came out great but cleaning up that cast iron skillet was a dreaded chore that took a lot of time and effort to accomplish. Now we use the Green Pan to cook our steaks. Once the pan cools down we simply add a small amount of dishwashing liquid and use a paper towel to easily wipe away the burned on grease in just a couple of minutes. It's almost seems like magic. We could not believe how easy it was to clean and maintain this pan and are so happy we found it. Highly recommended.

First off I love this brand and own many of their products. I was SO PLEASED upon the first use my chicken and grilled leeks looked AMAZING and tasted so grill-tastically yummy. BUT then I went to hand wash the pan, and my heart sank, terrible. TERRIBLE. I'd love to get a replacement but the GreenPan site declares no replacements for used pans... which is a shame, because I now love this brand less, and when I grab my other greenpans feels sorta let down by the company. This pan was amazing, legit, amazing at heat conducting and I used stovetop and in oven both on the first use, simply fantastic, but now everything sticks, it's useless, and I wasted $70 for what is not not even worth donating because it's unuseable. I'm sad. Shame on GreenPan for not having any exceptions of thinking there's a possibility they may have a dud and should revise their customer care disclaimers to suggest in some cases a a replacement could be possible. Not okay.

Brand new arrived with tiny bubbled coating on cooking surface

The Greenpan Valencia Pro 11-inch Grillpan arrived very quickly via Prime delivery, but upon opening up the packaging, I found a section of the cooking surface to have multiple bubbles in the coating. It appeared that the non-stick surface could be compromised. Amazon quickly sent a replacement item which had 2 bubbled spots but I won't worry about it yet. Time will tell if it will cause issues down the road. I will update the product once I can cook with it.

I use it on an induction stove. It grills great and cleans easily. I didn't buy the cover but I have a glass cover from something else which works when I want to speed up the grilling on thick cut meat. I bought it to replace a grill that came with my induction cooker. I had ruined the original pan my cooking with olive oil at too high a temperature. Now I rub the olive oil on with a paper towel and it cooks fine with hardly any sticking and none that is hard to remove. I learned about the paper towel from another reviewer.

The pan exceeds all of our expectations.
The "ribs" in the pan are great for cooking meats. They really do leave "grid marks" on beef/pork
It cleans easily.
We use it on a glass-top stove and it has evenly distributed heat.
The grips instead of a long handle make it easy to lift in and out of the oven.

My new favourite pan! Bacon, beef stir fry, both came out + pan cleaned up with hot water spray. So much easier then the panini press, wok, pot, or microwave we used to use. I have sold or cleared out the rest of my pans. I have more space. I will be a GreenPan fan from now on!

The pans came chipped, right out of the box and the company would do NOTHING! These were under warranty and all they did is send an email saying chips are normal. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM GREEN PAN! I am so mad. These pans are not cheap, but the company sure is.
