Best nonstick pans ever! (But not appropriate for all recipes)

I've had a set of these pans for over a year, and I love them! They're far more non-stick than any Teflon pan I've used, and I think they involve fewer scary chemicals than Teflon. I even bought a second set for my daughter. These are easily the most low-maintenance pans I have ever used.

But... Both of my pans have been accidentally ruined by guests, and I plan to buy a new pair. I now understand why there's an odd collection of raving reviews and strong complaints. The easiest way to kill any nonstick pan is by treating it like a cast iron pan, and applying heat to an empty pan, or applying high heat. Cooking sprays will also damage any nonstick pan, as will steel or copper scrubbing brushes. And of course, pouring cold water into any hot pan (of any type) is always a bad idea.

Use the right pan for the recipe, and these will be the lowest maintenance pans you'll ever use!

Worst pan I’ve ever owned 😩

I was super excited to get this pan after all I had heard. I’ve taken care of it better than any pan I’ve ever owned. Never used metal utensils, never leave it dirty, etc. 2 months later, I’m back to cooking on non-stock pans I bought 10 years ago) that I was planning to replace with Green Pan) because they’re still more non-stick. The silver color that’s supposed to stay bright forever using their patented “technology” was marked after a few weeks and now as you can see from the image looks terrible. But that’s just aesthetics. The cooking surface lost its non-stick properties after about a month. The other attached image is from fried rice made today. It’s total mess and the most frustrating pan I’ve ever owned. Honestly don’t understand where all these positive reviews are coming from. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We are gentle with our cookware but we use it daily. So, even after a month I can tell the coating is eroding. We hand wash, no scrubbing, no metal intensive, and cook on medium and below. The quality of the pan is great otherwise, but I’ve yet to find a chemical free nonstick that really delivers. This one is no different and it’s way more expensive than the others.

These are ok, as far as non stick pans go. They're alot more light than I would like, they heat up really fast, which means that they will burn your food really fast too, so watch out!! Also DO NOT USE ANY TYPE of metal object on the surface of these pans!!!! They will NOT tolerate poking or even skimming!! Use ONLY wood or plastic tools on these things. The surface is VERY FRAGILE in spite of what they say in the advertising.

They are a cinch to clean, they heat quickly and evenly, and they seem to be holding up really well. Take care of them as the instructions recommend, and they are as good as you'll find.

I have used it all week, it cleans easily -eggs, grilled sandwiches. Portabella mushrooms sautéed veggies, all Easy dishes. The pan heated evenly for 4 sunny side up eggs, each cooking simultaneously.
This is my third type of green pan.

NOTE: The last image shows my previous Green pan with the two new pans behind. You can see the putting and chips in the cheaper pan 1 yr of use.

This set will last longer!

I am extremely excited to use these and toss out the others.
Downsizing from four to two ‘fry’ pans! And at over $100 for the set I’ll take time to follow all the direction.
Special note - Keep your current Pan Covers, you can always try them on your new set!!

I searched high and low for a healthy non-stick pan. No tephlon, copper, aluminum leaching, etc. for cooking eggs. I’ve had it about 3 weeks use it on low heat and use ghee butter. Works like a charm. Couldn’t be more pleased. Only one point to clarify, the info I found in the description indicated that it was only ceramic coated and stainless Steel —- that’s not 100% accurate. The 4th of 6 layers is aluminum. As long as you don’t damage the surface and there is stainless steel in the other layers, it should not leach aluminum.

One issue is that the instructions indicate that one is not to use olive oil in the pan. Had I know that beforehand, I believe I would have looked for another option.

We've had these for about 2 months now, and so far are very happy with them! The non-stick coating is very non-stick and easy to clean up, and so far it seems to be very durable. They heat evenly, and although they are a little heavier than some previous pans we had I actually like them better as they balance well on our gas stove. Zero complaints and we got rid of our old teflon pans!

Unexplainable chips in pan’s coating

After 1 month of use the coating of the smaller pan got chipped, now 1.5 months in another chip. We are not using any metal utensils or anything that could have scratched it. So disappointed as we are not going to use a chipped pan, it’s unsafe. Thus this product didn’t hold up even for 2 months and will end up in garbage. Previous green pan products lasted us for years

scrathes on the 12 inch pan handle and peeled off alot on handle and also ceramic peeled off on the edge of the pan. I feel terrible. requested new one replacement. please don't send old one and make sure check no scrathes of peel off on the product.
