January 2021: Still no scratches and we barely need oil for eggs.

June 2020: We cook three meals a day and are hard on pans. About a month on these have no scratches. Eggs barely require oil.

Toxic burnt plastic when cooking

I was really looking forward to using those pans, I bout them because it was a healthier choice, but it turned out to be the most toxic product in NY kitchen.

I use a gas stove and the handle burns when I cook. It smells like awful toxic burnt plastic in the entire house. I have young children and it took me the entire day to get rid of the odor after cooking for less than one minute (I turned off the stove and put the pan outside as soon as I realized what was happening).

I have a lot of other pans with plastic handles that I have been using for years in the same stove and they don't burn when I cook. Maybe the material used for the handle is different or maybe they aremade so that the handle is not as close to the fire... Something is wrong with this Greenpan design.

I wanted a healthy choice but picked a poisonous choice instead.

I got these a few days ago after reading reviews on different sites. These pots and pans heat up really well on medium heat, so there's no need for high heat really. The stickers on each pot and pan say low to medium heat only, no oil sprays (such as Pam), and only a little butter or oil. If you follow the guidelines, you'll have no issues with these. I made enchilada sauce the first night and the pan came out clean and no staining. Theyre super easy to clean so far and remind me of my dad's Le Cruset in its ease. My reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is the small 5" frying pan and the wooden utensils. The utensils have some fraying where the holes were cut, as chopsticks do when broken apart. And i have no clue what youd cook in the 5" pan other than a single egg. Maybe that's what it's meant for? Other than that my husband and I are impressed, and ill be looking into other items from this line.

Damaged after 10 days of using

I used only wooden spoons for this product however the non sticky layer came out after a few times of using it. It started getting all scratched and food would stick in it no matter what. It says that you can put it in a dishwasher but you absolutely cannot! After washing it in a dishwasher a few times the pots were entirely scratched. Also, you cannot cook anything in the oven as it will start melting. This is not because I wasn't careful, the oven was only at 200F. This is not a family product, unless you cook once a week this may not be worth it. Extremely disappointed, have to return.

At first I was very impressed with these pans but as you can see, just after two years of average usage, this is what they look like now. Not as easy to clean as the description makes it seem. They slowly started looking like this within the last year. As you can see, the smaller sautée pan (which we used more than the others) is completely ruined and headed for the trash.

Do not assume, like I did, that this will be the LAST set of pans that you purchase.

After reading positive reviews I ordered this set as well as almost every other matching piece due to the fact that they are eco-friendly and that they were also great pans. After using them a few times I found that they are extremely difficult to clean and the bigger problem is that there is an awful plastic toxic smell that comes from the handles. If the flame is even slightly large it moves to the handle and causes the handle to turn black and crew and emit an awful smell that fills my home and makes it almost impossible for my family to breathe. I Hope the manufacturer will contact me.

We have had these pans for 6 months and the non-stick feature no longer works. The heat distribution of the pan and the construction is good but for the price, the non-stick feature should be next to permanent. We have since given away a fairly expensive set of pans expecting these to perform as advertised so now we have to purchase yet another set. I have tried the home remedies such as baking soda paste as posted on the internet but this does not improve the non-stick feature.

Llevo ya unos meses con ella y todos me salieron muy buenos el pequeño la verdad no lo uso mucho solo da lugar a un huevo y este si se llega a pegar. 😔 Pero todos los demás salieron muy bien. Si los usas como se indica, fuego bajo, poco ceite y por nada del mundo lavarlos después del uso hay que esperar a que se enfríen. La parte de afuera se suele manchar pero esa si la puedes tallar con una fibra más gruesa y sin problema.
Estoy encantada ahora comprare un sarten grande cuadrado para acompletar! ♥️

I spent one month researching for a good deal in a ceramic pan. After two months of daily use, I feel safe to write my review. It's the best purchase I've made in pans. I use my pans every single. I dont have ANY scratches on them. I saw reviews that people had their pans with scratches but I wonder if they took care as the instructions tell them to do: ✔ never put on dishwasher ✔ only use the soft part of sponges to handwash (which it's very easy and fast because it is nonstick) ✔ I put at least 1 drop of oil to not get anything to stick but even dough when I forget eg fried eggs, it is ok to wash without any problem. Some people might still find these instructions too much work, I work all day everyday and I still get to find time to keep my expensive pans in good condition.

If you are looking for good and healthy pans, I totally recommend these ones :)✌

We LOVED these at first. They were so easy to clean and very non-stick. We followed all the guidelines for use and care very carefully. The pan we used the most lost it’s non-stick in some areas and the second time we used the medium pot, a film started lifting from the surface. All we did was cook pasta in it twice and now we obviously can’t use it. I attached photos of it. I’m very disappointed as I thought these were the best at first.
