There is NOTHING about this frypan that is non-stick. I have used it for a while, but EVERYTHING sticks. I just warmed up some lunch meat for my son, and the turkey stuck. It’s ridiculous. This is a good sized fry pan, but anything you cook will stick worse than if you were using cast iron.

Save your money. This pan is a joke.

Non-stick for 6 months

The non-stick feature of the pan worked well for about 6 months. One day I made a grilled cheese sandwich on it, none of the cheese hit the pan, but the there were some dark marks left in the pan after I washed it. I washed it again, and the marks remained. Since that day no matter how hard, light, cold, or Hot I wash the pan I can not get the pan clean and the Non-stick feature is gone.

I made eggs this morning, I attached pictures of the results. I'll be buying another pan, just not this type/brand.

You Can't Use Extra Virgin Olive Oil With These Pans

The packaging that comes with the pan states that you can't use extra virgin olive oil in it. Unfortunately, that is not stated on Amazon or I wouldn't have bought the pan.

I called the company for clarification. The representative kept telling me that extra virgin olive oil has a low smoke point. She said that it's fine to use unclarified butter or coconut oil both of which have a lower smoke point than extra virgin olive oil.

As virtually all of the olive oil sold in my area is extra virgin, this pan is useless to me. I plan to return it.

I hate this pan

the fact that a lot of different foods sticks to the surface is not my biggest complaint (bacon and sausage are the worst, even with cooking spray).
What really gets me is that the pan was designed by a team of experts so that no matter what, when you are trying to pour grease out of the pan, a good portion of that grease will run down the edge edge and reach he bottom of the pan...EVERY DAMN TIME. Not only is every cheap teflon pan that i have ever had a far better choice for non stick, I have NEVER had a pan that was so infuriating almost every time i use it and forget about the hassle and mess that is guaranteed to result. Don't buy this pan.

Loved it for a year, and then it stops working.

I've had this pan one year in October and have loved it until about a week ago when food started sticking to it. My omelets end up scrambled eggs. I've been diligent about hand washing it with no abrasives after it's cooled. I have a special spatula that is made with that high temperature soft plastic that is the only utensil used with the pan. I almost always cook on medium heat, occasionally a little higher to sear something. Ive literally done everything I was supposed to, and it's still carbonizing. I'm disappointed that it only lasts a year. I looked at their website and they recommend a special sponge I'm going to try, but if it is really necessary to maintain the pan, it should come with it. I don't like to be wasteful, I'd be happy to send it in to be refinished if they could do that. As of now I'm just sad because I liked the pan, but I don't want to buy another if its just going to last one year.

Loved this pan! I wanted something to cook meats in that when black pieces are in the pan, they would be easy to remove. I have lighter/cream pans that I use daily but when I cook bacon or sausage, it's a little harder to clean. So I ordered these pans because they are ceramic, and also because of the grey color. Absolutely love it. My pics show I cooked bacon and sausage, then just wiped out the pan and cooked my eggs in. When I bought the pan, I was worried about the comments people had regarding not being able to cook at high heat. They must have had their eye on High...but you don't need to cook at such high heat. As shown in the pic, at a med heat, I can fry anything in this pan..and it wipes out super clean and spotless. I will be purchasing another soon.

I like cast iron, but the largest size is pretty bulky and somethings I want something easier to handle. I like that this pan is non-toxic, Yeah, you have to be gentler with it than a toxic nonstick pan. As long as you are cooking at a low-to-medium temperature (which is healthier than high-temps which oxidate fats & cause burning which creates toxic compounds) then you'll be okay. This was 100% non-stick for the first 2 months, until I started cooking eggs, which I found interesting considering (1) another commenter mentioned the same thing happened when they started cooking eggs, and (2) we have several of the smallest green pans which we use specifically for eggs and after years of use they still are non-stick.

Almost two months later and unfortunately it’s not as non stick anymore. I am really crazy about following the guidelines but unfortunately it’s just not the same. HOWEVER are traditional non sticks like this? (Probably) and I still love it because guess what ? It’s not poisoning my child! And on another note, traditional Non-stick frying pans have been linked to a shrinkage in male children’s appendages amongst other things!!! It’s crazy! Healthy non sticks that aren’t super non-stick are soooo much better!

The product page is misleading as to where this pan is manufactured. I can confirm this is from China. I would have been willing to pay twice as much for something not made in China. Being advertised as eco-friendly, and somewhat more expensive than other pans, you would think that the people this is marketed toward would care about that kind of thing. Maybe they do. It might actually be an acceptable pan in the end, but clear country of origin really needs to be a thing on this site, and so there needs to be some consequence for this. Not recommended.

Don't Buy this Pan

The pan started as a non-stick pan but only after two weeks of normal use it is not really a non-stick pan anymore. Any oil from the food eventually starts to stick to the pan (and I never cook food above the medium heat setting, mostly medium-low setting only) and the oil will not come off unless you scrap it with an abrasive type scrubber, which I have NOT done, hence now the pan has a permanent oil stain / discolouration in the centre of the pan. Also now I am forced to use either butter or oil to ensure the food in the pan does not stick, which of course defeats the whole purpose of the pan. So for the cost of the pan, I expected a lot better performance and would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Also the pan was not wrapped properly when it was shipped, the glass lid (with metal handle) was scrapping the non-stick surface inside the amazon box.
