It Will Last If You Know What To Do

First, when cooking use oil in these pans as opposed to butter and do not cook on high heat. Use wood or silicon cooking utensils. Let the pan cool before washing. We had a flat griddle and a frying pan for about a year. The skillet took more of a beating given more use, the flat griddle we mostly used once a week for pancakes. Worked great for about 10 months, then started to become non stick and hold oil residue we could not get off. They were sitting by the trash can to go out when we came across some advice. Heat up some water with a tablespoon of baking soda, very low boil. Used a soft toothbrush to remove the residue. They are like new again. Had to treat the skillet twice. These are after photos, I did not think of taking before photos, unfortunately.

I mostly cook with cast iron and stainless steel. I care about cooking with safe cookware for my children. However, I still wanted pans that I could cook eggs and french toast on. I settled on this thinking I had found the best option out there. And even as I was using it the first time and so pleased with how the french toast turned out (using a nylon spatula), I went to clean it and a small part of the coating peeled off. First use. On a $40 pan. I emailed the company and they said it's still safe to use but I could return it via Amazon, but I figured I'd write a review for those of you considering it. I don't expect to spend $40 on a pan only for it to get ruined the first time I cook gently with it!

I bought this pan to replace a Calphalon pan from a few years ago that warped due to my wife's cooking. I need to clarify that she isn't a bad cook...but it did warp while she was using it. We use this type of pan a lot. Probably #2 or #3 usage on the stove. Typical usage is for pancakes, crapes, and grilled cheese (when I don't want to dig out the panini maker). I was shocked on how well an egg cooked up with no oil or spray, it didn't stick at all (see video). It wasn't the most beautiful thing but I just wanted to check how well the ceramic coating worked and I was impressed. If you are like me and unimpressed by the options that are out there for this style no need to worry. This is the only one you will need. It works on all stove tops including: Halogen, Induction, Gas, and electric.

3 good years of use, great for the price point

I bought this pan in 2015 and got 3 good years of regular use for pancakes etc. It may not be a "lifetime" but I like the square shape of this one; it is light-weight and the handle stays cool. Now, the coating has become sticky and I'm having to use large amounts of butter/oil. Today, I used the griddle for sausage and pancakes and realized it's time for a new one, so I am reviewing the pan I've used for 3 years and ordering a new one.
Thankfully, PFOA-free cookware is becoming more prevalent but it's not as easy to find a griddle. Scanpan has an 11" griddle that gets great reviews but it is significantly more expensive. Maybe I'll eventually splurge for that but for now I'm going with the Greenpan again.

Very happy with my purchase

I read all the reviews before I bought this pan and was somewhat leary about my purchase. I have had 3 other griddles including a cast iron griddle to cook my pancakes. Each of the others (other then the cast iron) warped and became unusable within weeks of purchase. The cast iron was just to hard to maintain and at times my cakes stuck to the surface. I wanted something simple, fast, and reliable. I had purchased a 12" GreenPan frying pan and was very happy with the quality and decided to throw caution to the wind and I ordered this griddle.

It is heavy duty, and I think that is what is preventing the warping issue. I have had this pan 5 months now and I use it a lot. Almost every day for breakfast, either pancakes or bacon and eggs. I have yet to have any issues with this pan. It is still non-warped, the coating is perfect, and I absolutely love how well and evenly this thing cooks my food.

Now granted I do treat my pans like royalty. Nothing touches the surface of my GreenPans except silicon tools. And they are only ever washed with Scrub Daddy sponges.

I do intend to purchase more GreenPan pans. They are very complementary to my Calphalon stainless steel pans.

Amazingly nonstick!

This pan has a ceramic nonstick coating. I thought, sure whatever, I read that it was good, but it's gonna be just a little better than my parents teflon. This pan completely changed how I cook breakfast. I can't recommend highly enough. With a little dot worth of oil, I can crack an egg, cook it until the white part is solid AND SLIDE THE EGG around with my finger! Zero stickage at all. Why would I slide it with my finger? I dunno. No good reason anyway. But I had first slid the spatula under the egg and it seemed too easy. I tried later with my finger. I digress. I'm accustomed to cooking on well seasoned cast iron and polished steel, and even to a lesser extent teflon pans, but wow, this one is one of my favorites now. I've used it for months now and it's just as good as day one. I can even clean it with a single paper towel or two and it's immaculate! Stealth jets should have skin made of this; radar would bounce right off!

El antiadherente parece funcionar bien, pero se manchó casi desde el primer uso. Pedí devolución porque definitivamente no es lo que esperaba.
Después del primer uso quedó manchado pero tallando se le quitó, quedó solo ligeramente visible. Pensaba con las lavadas se le quitaría pero no fue así. Veo que al cabo de 2 semanas el antiadherente tampoco funciona bien.

El sartén no se descarapela y resiste muy bien el calor (como indica la publicidad) pero el sistema antiadherente solo duro unos 3 días, después de eso todo se le pega, lo único bueno es que no se descarapela hasta el momento (al tenerlo que tallar duro para despegar los residuos de comida) repito no es nada antiadherente, incluso con aceite y flama baja, la comida se pega.
