I almost didn't buy this pan due to the negative reviews. Fortunately I looked into them and saw it was mostly people that don't seem to understand a round mini egg pan is well....a round mini egg pan. That happened to be exactly what I was looking for. I've used it quite a few times with no sticking problems. Due to the size, and chances being no one has a burner that tiny, you do have to position it a bit off to the side of the burner or the handle will get hot. Most things kept over direct heat for a bit tend to get hot...makes sense, right? As far as the rivets holding the handle on, I prefer the handle secured that way as it is on all my pots and pans, rather than say...superglue. Just because a pan is small doesn't mean it will not be constructed the same as a large pan. Unless you 1) don't know how to properly crack and egg 2) don't know how to properly flip an egg in a pan of this size or 3) are cooking an ostrich egg ..the egg does not go up as high as the rivets. I've had quite a few mini egg pans and this is by far the best. I've added a photo of my breakfast, an extra large organic egg cooking, for anyone confused by the size of a mini egg pan.

I was very disappointed with this. Try as I might, I couldn't get it to be completely non-stick with my morning omelette. Egg stuck to the bottom of the pan sometimes and always to the rivets that held the handle. I gave mine to the thrift store.

Good For Eggs But Slightly Off Balance and Could Use a Better Handle

I received my Mini Egg pan and decided to use it right away... The pan does NOT work on Induction Unless you use a diffuser. I also bought a diffuser at the same time so I tried the pan cooking Egg Beaters Egg Whites... if you are familiar with the four pack of little egg beater's containers, one little container fills up about half of the Small Pan.... on bigger pans I was able to cook at 350 and not scorch the eggs but I could tell I needed to lower the temp to med.- 275 degrees to be safe.... it took a little longer but with only flipping once it made a perfectly round Egg White in a sort of burger shaped patty (would have made a nice sandwich)... there was no scorching and it was a very well cooked egg. My Only Concerns with This pan were... the Pan when empty tipped easily and with a still hot pan you should be careful, also since the entire handle is NOT covered you also have to be careful that your fingers don't slide down to the hot bare part of the very short handle. the pic makes the handle look longer then it is, also remember this is a very small pan. I would have liked a raised edge at the end of the rubber handle coating to stop your fingers from sliding. I do think this would be great for cooking an egg right out of the shell. It's worth the money, just be careful to not touch bare part of handle. (I'm use to induction pans where the handles Don't Get Hot)

This has been reviewed a ton, thanks to those reviews my wife decided this is the one to get. We make an egg every day for our dog, over easy in a bit of coconut oil. Your dog will love it and it's great and good protein.

The non stick has worked well, I am impressed. It's so non-stick that the oil can't coat the pan like you may be used to. It's tiny and light. This is not something your going to fry anything else but literally one egg.

I was hoping to get some use out of it but no man should have to settle for eating one egg unless your throwing it on top of a burger. The problem with two is while you can fit them in, depending on the size of your eggs, they will reach the heigh where the silver nobs are that connect the handle. There for it will kind of stick on them and be a bit hard to get off. Another quirk is that you can't crack your egg on this light pan without using two hands or I'm an idiot and haven't mastered that aspect as I have to hold the handle and crack it or it will tip or move b/c again the pan is very small and light.

I have a few other small pans like this and I really enjoy them. I mostly use them for small omelettes. My grandchildren love to get a little one egg omelette with just what they want in it. Usually cheese and bacon but sometimes with a few veggies. This is a lightweight pan but one would have to expect that for this price.

One thing that surprised me was that the handle stays pretty cool, even when in the oven (although I don't recommend that). I have even used it on a gas grill for browning some mushrooms to go with a steak that I was cooking alongside it.

For the price this is a nice little pan and I like it quite a bit but I do prefer a heavier pan even if it costs more.

I have had a 12" GreenPan for a couple of years now and have absolutely loved it. Out of pure laziness, I wanted a single egg pan to use in the morning; less to clean up. This mini pancake pan is perfect. As described, a single egg cooks perfectly. I haven't experienced the handle heating up or the egg sticking to the rivets on the inside of the pan. The size of the pan does make flipping the egg interesting, but since the egg slips around on the pan, it's not too bad. The egg has slid out of the pan once it has been cooked every time.

The pan tilts a little on my gas stove when it's empty. I just crack the egg into the pan before I put it on the stove. It sits fine on the smallest burner.

If you buy this little guy, make sure you only use rubber utensils and don't use anything abrasive to clean it.

I use this to fry a single egg. As others have noted it is not wide enough and long enough to get a standard spatula in under the egg. I've been using a ladle which is curved enough so you can get it under about half way and flip and hope for the best but I do use this and it's OK, but just OK. Consider the seven inch model for greater ease of use.

Antes de comprar este mini sartén me leí todas los comentarios de otros clientes y siendo sincero iba a retractarme de comprarlo, pero al final lo necesitaba para hacer de desayunar a mis dos tesoros de 6 y 8 años que gustan de los huevos estrellados, Permíteme darte una opinión objetiva, sincera y justa acerca de este mini sartén: ES MAGNIFICO si le pones un poquito de aceite (si sólo un poquito) cocinaras unos huevos que quedarán perfectos, no se pegarán y lo harás de manera sencilla, practica y rápida, te aclaro que sólo puedes hacer uno a la vez y tratar a tu sartén con cuidado, porque la verdad no es ni para cavernícolas, ni para personas que no saben hacer un huevo estrellado, ni para quienes quieren hacer más de un huevo.
Los comentarios negativos que puedes leer de otros compradores pásalos por alto, en muchos de los casos estoy seguro que se trata de personas que no tienen la menor idea de lo que es hacer un huevo estrellado o quizás no tienen ni idea de lo que puede o no hacer un sartén por ellos.
Lo que si te puedo decir con total honestidad es que este sartén cumple con su función y lo hace perfectamente.

It's works really well for one egg, but it's a little hard to work with IMO. A spatula is a little cumbersome to wiggle under the egg because of the walls and tight angle. Because of this I've resorted to air flipping my eggs. This isn't ideal because the pan is so small. On one hand it's easy to miss the mark and get egg all over the place, on the other hand it's really testing my marksmanship with the technique. The non stick is gold and I would recommend their product.

Solo hemos dado poco uso a la cacerola, sin embargo, ya comienzan a pegarse los huevos.

El producto está bien en cuestión de adherencia, se limpia fácilmente y de momento no ha dado problemas con comida pegada, habría que evaluarlo después de meses de uso.
