Warning -- Faulty Product -- Do not buy if you use extra virgin olive oil

So, the packaging does say the pan works best if you use a little oil. That's a bit strange fora "non-stick" pan -- but we like using extra virgin olive oil when we cook. But hidden away in the small print of a small "how to use this pan" guidance packet is the warning that you need to use corn oil or peanut oil, which are both relatively unhealthy - and Do not use extra virgin olive oil, which will carmelize on the pan and make products stick. First, this should be noted on the Amazon description and second, this should be noticed on the packaging, and not hidden in the small print. We are sending this package right back!

Sticks after 2 minths of light use

I purchased 2 of these pans in different sizes. When I first began using them they were awesome. Very non stick, easy clean up too. At 2 months of 4 times a week usage they began to stick. Now the food sticks to the pan even with oil. When finished I have to scrub off the stuck on food with a scratchy sponge. I am very disappointed considering the price I paid. I followed all the of the washing instructions, light soap, no dishwasher.

Worst Non-Non Stick Pan Ever!

Everything sticks to these pans worse than the 2 year old worn out pans that the GreenPans were meant to replace. We closely followed manufacturer recommendations and tried everything (no cooking spray, non-stick cooking spray, a little bit of olive oil, no pan preheat, pan preheat, etc). Biggest regret is we didn't try to scramble eggs until the time to return these pans to Amazon were expired. If you don't heed this advice to not buy, at least try to scramble eggs before your 30 day time to return is expired. Best feature is sturdy construction and metal handles which will last for years the landfill where they are headed next.

Was good, but not anymore

I wait almost 2 month to write my review because I was doubting about buying due to bad reviews about scratches and food sticking in it. I think the problem is people that doesn't follow instructions. You can't use spray oil, use metal spoons or hard sponges... easy, because nothing get stick. I'll upload a photo and continue to do so every other month to see how it goes.
Update... 2 and a half months and still great (second picture) I use it in a daily basis and even if something stick on it. Is easy to remove even just with water. I think the secret is care!

And it's done :( I supose it's ok, since it was not very expensive. It began with a little scratch a couple of month ago and eventually everything started to adhere to the bottom

Its hard finding a non toxic pan that actually lasts and is non stick. Not even sure if exists. They can claim the stars and moon but just isnt out there. This was the best I have tried of all their pans it lasted the longest. 2 years now. I'd give it more stars but for the price should last longer. My other pots/pans from this company lasted only a few months before sticking like crazy. I'm glad it's kept us safe but I dont feel I got my money's worth on any of their products. I need a whole new set now and not sure what to buy. This maybe the only one I might buy again. MAYBE. Cause not many trusted non toxic brands out there.

ceramic breaking down, poor warranty

Best to avoid this brand, 2 year warranty says it needs to be returned to the seller, and amazon doesn't accept returns of items after a couple months. I purchased this 10" ceramic pan, as well as a companion 12" and unfortunately the ceramic on both of these pans seems to be breaking down. I have absolutely babied these things, I've got a full set of silicon cooking tools for use with these guys and at no point has metal even made contact with the inside of the pan, unfortunately my 10" is showing chips in the ceramic, I can't imagine that chip of missing ceramic coating not getting into my food and digestive system (the human system can't properly process ceramic and if sharp can do internal damage) Looking at my 12" pan I've got small micro scratches as well as long wavy scratch lines that extend the length of the pan, it really appears this ceramic is at fault. Looking into further details it looks like the ceramic is manufactured in China, and doing some googling it appears sub par ceramics are pretty standard, I went with this replacement pan which is now all german made (they did manufacture in china for a bit but moved back for quality reasons) and will hopefully last longer then the year and a half I got out of these greenpans link here if I can save some reasearch for folks.

Happy hunting, seems just about impossible to find a pan that isn't going to leach something toxic into your food or have temperamental ceramic I'm hoping Germany will have their manufacturing game together now as they seem to have through history

Would like to return it. We bought both 10" and 12". Seemed great when we first used it. But when my wife cooked some bacon and other things, it wasn't so non-stick, and the cooking left residue that we cannot remove using their care instructions...like boiling water then cleaning. We've never had a non-stick pan maintain the cooking residue/grease/oil like this one. We are not looking forward to owning these. Total bummer.

Never had a 12” pan before... loving the bigger size! It’s very sturdy and seems well made. The handles on my last set started wobbling after a while; I don’t see this handle coming loose ever! I see complaints about the non-stick wearing off with time... I always use oil etc. in my pans so I don’t expect that to be an issue for me. Certainly after multiple uses I still see absolutely no difference in the surface from new. Time will tell.

Yes they make many models, but this one is the best for me.
Super easy cleaning with just a soft sponge and hot soapy water, will make these last for many years.
Also only use soft utensils to on its surface, as this will make it last way longer .... Love it .
