I wish I got the Venice Pro

After using these for a while, I bought (separately) the Venice Pro 5 quart saute pan. The Venice is stainless steel, while the Valencia is aluminum with an induction base. The induction base is not very good. I compared the time to boil, on our induction stove, about 20 oz of water. The Venice 5 quart saute pan started (first bubbles) boiling in about 30 seconds. The Valencia 4.5 quart saute pan started boiling after 90 seconds. The reason I conducted this test is because I noticed that I often had to turn up our stove all the way took fry things with the Valencia saute and fry pans. I wish I could go back in time and get the Venice. Also, the ceramic is a lighter color on the Venice, which is better because you lose less information about what you're cooking.

Had for a month now and like them so far. These pans are thick and have held shape (flatness) well. I am using them on a gas stove but these should maintain good surface contact on glass or element type ranges. The outer coating is starting to scratch off on the most used pans where they contact the iron grill. The non-stick is not as good as Teflon but the finish is quit a lot harder. A little butter or oil does the trick. They do however clean, even burnt on food, easily. Would recommend :)

Our 16 piece set just arrived. So far we are pleased with the set and found that it cleaned up quite easily. Upon its arrival we found that the small saucepan had nicks on it due to the way this item was packaged.All other items were packaged quite well. I attempted to contact the manufacturer, however was unable to reach a representative. Upon contacting Amazon I was informed that my only option was to return the entire set and re-order a new one. Considering the cost of the set itself I feel that the easiest appoach to remending this would be to replace the damaged item, however I was not given that option.
