I bought this in order to crush up my dog's medicine to mix with his food. I love this product. It's well made and exactly as described. The ridges in the bowl really help to crush the pills and you just tap the bottom lightly and any powder that is resting in the grooves comes right out. All in all, I'm very please with the price and overall product. I would definitely recommend this to someone who isn't grinding a lot up at one time since, it's not that big but for small pills like me, this is perfect!

Very nice, perfect for grounding up my dry spices and leaves. I thought having little bit of texture inside the bowl might stain from grounding herbs, but it has always cleaned up just like new. I found this one after a lot of searching, comparing prices and reviews to be the a great product for the price!

Overall quality very good from opening box. Having used these before, and not over using or abusing it... A few taps to the side of the mortar with the pestal.... And it broke in half.... Not happy at all. Will not recommend or reorder.
Hoping gorilla glue will at least hold it together for a dust collector.

Grew the herbs then tried to mash'em, dice'em, slice'em - arrrrghhh. Got this Marble Mortar and Pestle; pulled the leaves off the plant, tossed them into the Mortar and BAM - the result was amazing! Much better flavor, use less than the dehydrated bottle spices... Well packed [it's heavy] quick ship. If you cook, highly recommend this inexpensive difference maker.

I bought this for a weird purpose, but it works great! I use this to crush my hair chalk and mix it water, to make it easier to apply to my hair. Surprisingly, it's super easy and turns out way better than just rubbing it on my hair. This Marble Mortar and Pestle were really simple to use and worked quickly. I just put the hair chalk in and started smashing. It's smooth on the outside, and rough on the inside, for better grip when crushing things. It's pretty heavy also, and stays solidly on the table when in use. Overall, I really like this and highly recommend it.

This thing is great! I purchased it a year ago, and it has been a handy and stylish kitchen tool. It’s the perfect size if you cook for one or two and is very sturdy. It is a bit difficult to get clean, but that hasn’t bothered me too much. The remnants of previously-ground food items don’t tend to flake off during later use. I love this little thing and definitely recommend!
