This is a dreadful piece of conservative and I suspect Republican propaganda designed to turn people from environmental issues that we are facing globally.

While the author does a good job in detailing a history of the current Environmental Movement , he quickly devolves into hearsay and conjecture offering little to no factual background to his opinionated and highly subjective ideas.

Anyone who thinks/believes a movement with the magnitude of The Environmental movement doesn't have a genesis has limited knowledge of history. This book identifies that genesis. Living today and seeing what the author(s) revealed decades ago is brilliant.

with all the hoopla about global warming and environmental extremism, it would behoove us all to get the facts, not just swallow the koolaid doled out by the liberal media. this book was published almost 15 years ago and it is remarkably accurate in its predictions regarding the direction the environmentalist movement would be heading as well as the real objectives of the movement. because environmentalism has been so politicized, everyone of voting age should know the facts in order to make informed choices in the voting booth. "The Greening" presents the facts in a very readable and honest fashion. It really SHOULD be required college reading.
