Works well with longer screws and applications that have plenty of room around the screw.
pull back on sleeve over screwdriver shaft and insert screw onto tip, release sleeve and it holds your screw in place so you can use one handed without dropping the screw. greenlee is my favorite for this type of screwdriver
Got this and I love it! The first jobs I used it on saved time and frustration.
It takes a little practice so I would recommend trying to use it outside tight quarters at first to get the hang of it.
When inserting a screw:
Put the screw in the holder on the screwdriver.
Start the screw. If the screw isn't very long you can't screw it in far before the holder gets caught and you can't get it off to finish screwing in the screw. To see if the screw is started enough to hold pull back on the screwdriver, if the screw doesn't come out, you're safe to remove the screwdriver and the screw shouldn't fall out. Practice this outside a case. You remove the holder by reversing how you put the screw in. Push forward on the release lever and slide the screwdriver off the head of the screw.
Seriously, this is a great tool. If you work with small screws in tight quarters it will save you hours of time and headaches.

Have not used it yet. Appears to be a good quality screwdriver. I ordered the #2 Philips and after getting it I ordered the #1 Philips.Published 4 months ago by GaryB
Does the job it's designed for. Wish they were shorter in length for access in tight places.Published 9 months ago by Lynn
only reason I don't give it five stars is that it will not do #10 screwsPublished 10 months ago by MD90
