I had the 2036 die which is supposed to be for the same range of terminals. I quit using that die after having trouble with various terminal manufacturers. I thought it was the terminal manufacturer's inconsistency. I had been using the crimper for coax crimping and was getting tired of having sore hands with the crimper I was using for the 22-10 AWG wires if I had a lot to do in one day and love the 8000 series crimper with its big handles so I tried this die. It is better for the terminals I use so I'm very pleased.
4 stars mainly for Paladin's having multiple dies designated for the same job but with different dimensions.

The CrimpALL is probably the single most versatile hand-tool I have. I am a HVAC contractor.
And Paladin is UNKNOWN where I am for the most part in this trade.... It shouldn't be.
