The price fluctuates for this. It is a rebaged Bryman multimeter. If it is less than 100 USD it is worth every penny. I did a comparison of 8 meters under 120 USD and this is by far the best value. Although the UNI-T 61E has perhaps slightly better readings it does not meet its spec in all ranges in the unit I tested and the internal construction is inferior to this meter.

I now recommend the DM-200A or DM-210A to anyone who can afford them and is conscious of cost.

WOW - I knew this would be a decent meter, but I never expected such high overall build quality and accuracy. All one has to do is handle this meter and take a peek inside to see this is a top quality instrument, but be aware the DM210A is NOT a true RMS meter so if you need TRMS choose a higher model such as the 510A - I will say however I have a Fluke 17B+ and this Greenlee easily matches it in build quality. I was lucky enough to find one for an amazing price at that place by the bay making it that much better. Overall this meter is solid as a rock with a great rubber boot easily readable display with bar graph and useable tilting leg. If you could nitpick anything its the heavy duty range switch which is a a bit tight but feels like it will last 100 years+ - I like it. Internal components and build quality are top tier considering the price, even the leads are nice silicone wire with some of the best quality silicone plugs ive ever seen - and the meter jacks hold the plugs (tight)-NO slop in these babys. Add to all this it has optional computer interface capability, an excellent continuity tester temp probe and you just cant go wrong, especially since Greenlee is a rebranded Brymen meter, a top quality brand. If you buy this one be sure to get the DM210A dont get the only slightly cheaper DM200A as it does not have a capacitance range or temp input. One more thing, this meter has very good input protection internally with all the goodies - large resistors, MOV's PTC's, flat resistor array, large high quality fuses and very thorough overall circuit design especially for this price range. The only other thing I can say is check prices and if it fits your needs BUY ONE-!

I purchased this meter in October 2013 mainly for testing resistance and also liked the option to measure temperature. The meter has a very good build quality to its exterior and feels solid. However, less than one year after purchasing it, the resistance/capacitance/diode functions no longer work. The continuity feature, when the dial selector is in that same mode, works with the audible indicator but there are no digits displayed and pressing the select key does nothing to change to the desired mode. Also, the temperature/mv functions no longer work as there is absolutely nothing displayed on the screen when selecting that mode. All of the other features work just fine. I have checked both fuses as well as replaced the batteries to no avail. The condition persists whether the leads are connected or not. The meter is basically useless to me. I used this meter less than 1/2 a dozen times. Very disappointed!
