About Greg Middleton
Greg Middleton is a public speaker, seminar leader, spiritual counselor and life coach. He lives in Altadena California with his wife Cynthia of over 35 years and enjoys the love of children and grandchildren. Greg is also founded a men's organization dedicated to dealing with the numerous issues that are plaguing men in this current day society. The company's motto is "Men helping men to become better men." By gathering men together to talk about our issues we all gain. Greg spearheads a company that is designed to bringing help and healing specifically to males.
As a writer he deals with many social issues in society from a spiritual prospective. Until you learn to see under the veil of the physical realm into the much deeper spiritual realm, you can't understand why life appears to unfold so un-equal or unjust. In truth the universe is balanced perfectly in all ways but if you only see the physical universe it does not have the appearance of equality or justice. By understanding the higher realm from which all things originated, you learn to find meaning and divine purpose to this phase of your being. Greg Middleton writes in this space and challenges you to think about the higher possibilities. Rather than offering you a fish sandwich he would rather teach you how to fish or go fishing with you.

Blog postSorry, I neglected you over time, but I was so busy writing and creating that I spent so little time responding to the ones that I actually reached. I am not sure what happened but all of a sudden it appears that my essays are being read. To you who commented on my works, I really appreciate your kind words. There are many predators on sites such as mine that wants to sell a product or encourage me to participate in what they have to offer. I have nothing against

Blog postBack home we used to say, “Our God might not give us what we want but He (sho-nuff) sure enough give us what we need.” I personally didn’t agree with that statement when I was younger, not really because I wanted what I wanted and was very disappointed when I didn’t receive it. That feeling of disappointment does not sit quite well with most children. Most children experienced similar disappointments during their youth, but thankfully we have both heavenly and ea

Blog postI have a brother in Christ and Bible Study friend that uses a similar statement that I will borrow from him. He says, “I love the ladies and the ladies love me.” Our group consists of over a dozen or so males, all up in years. We are mostly retirees who still remember our days past. When you get a group of males together that old locker room talk will usually come out. Even though we are believers of Christ as Lord, we still have fun talking about what we might ha

Blog postI know that I cannot speak for God and neither will I attempt to do so. God is quite capable of speaking for Himself in His own Word. If you want to see the view from God’s perspective read His Word, which will last throughout all times. The Prophet Isaiah said: “The grass withers, the flower faces, but the Word of our God stands forever.” Isa. 40:8 The disciple and apostle Peter quoted Isaiah in 1 Peter 1:25. As you can see mortals living in different times were

Blog postUntil you get there you are not there. Even though I grew up in a home that believed in God, as I child I only did what I was told and I believed as I was taught to believe. If my parents had taught me that an eagle was God soaring in the sky, I would have accepted that as my truth. When someone says that God is good all the time that sounds like a great catchy statement but until you are there you don’t really know what that means.
A lot of what we are is based u

Blog postI wanted to accept this blame only on myself but I have a feeling that it applies to many of you as well. One of my favorite writers of all time is the Apostle Paul who wrote several chapters of the New Testament in the Holy Bible. In the book of Romans the seventh chapter, he speaks about this dichotomy. “The things I do I do not wish to do but the things I hate, I do.” You can read the chapter and verse in Romans 7 but you probably need to read the entire chapte

Blog post“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” – Matthew 7:13-14 - NIV
These are the (red letter) words spoken by Christ scribed in one of His many life lessons that were laced with wisdom throughout the four gospels. Some would consider such teachings to be hidden wisdom because it goes against

Blog postMost people would consider this to be a rhetorical question but that depends upon whether or not they believe in a Divine God. Unbelievers think the universe just evolved with life and coming about all on its own power. If they only knew how complicated and sophisticated only one facet of existence was they would actually have to question how “nothing” could create such intelligence. That would mean that intelligence created itself and that would again lead back t

Blog postI think it is our basic nature to follow the popular road and to want to be with the “in-crowd.” People who are eccentric are considered weird and Lord knows we do not want to be even considered strange. However, being weird or strange is not always a bad quality. A lot of eccentric people are our gifted artists and geniuses. They walk out there alone not always caring what people think of them because they are comfortable in their own skin. When you are good at s

Blog postI called out unto the Lord
He heard my cry
He lifted my soul up into the heavens
To see what I wanted.
Words did not come to me
For I knew not what to ask
There are no words to explain
Our quest to seek His approval
What can I ask of the Most High God?
What is it that I have that isn’t already His?
All I would like to do is to empty myself
And ask that He refill me in the ways of the Lord.

Real Men, What’s Happening with our Males?
Jul 23, 2010
$6.99
This book was specifically written for males of all ages in order to help them see the drastic changes that have happened over the past few generations. Most are not adapting well to these changes. Life has drastically changed from the typical roles that both genders once played, specifically in the family unit. Even jobs that were normally held by males are no longer secure. Where do men go, what do they do, or how to they adjust to this new reality? It’s all discussed in the quick-read book. Before you can solve the problem you first have to see that you have one. This book will enlighten you to the current happenings and encourage you to do something about it. If you guys only had ten books around your place, this would have to be one of them. It’s not a bad idea for females to read this book because it discusses the reasons why males are going through these changes. It will help you understand the male psyche.
$6.99
The premise for this book is based upon a biblical quote that says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the doors will be opened to you." If you seek spiritual wisdom it will be drawn to you. That is simply how the spiritual universe works. God wants to give us all we need in order to accomplish our earthly missions, but in order to acquire what He has we must become "the Seeker".
This book lays out a path toward spiritual enlightenment. It proposes an action plan and suggests methods and principles the reader can relate to and follow if that is what they desire. It is for people of all religious preferences if they are seeking spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding. All you need to do is to become the Seeker, and you become the magnet that draws divine enlightenment to you.
