About Gregory W. Beaubien
Internationally acclaimed author Gregory W. Beaubien began his professional writing career in 1988, when his first paid article, about a punk rock club, appeared in the weekly newspaper the Chicago Reader. Since then he has written hundreds of feature stories and news articles for a long list of publications that has included the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, Travel + Leisure, Yahoo Travel, and many other newspapers, magazines, wire services and websites. As a travel writer he has reported from Europe, North Africa, Southeast Asia, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and the United States, collecting experiences and observations that informed his first novel, the noir travel thriller "Shadows the Sizes of Cities" (Moresby Press, 2014). Beaubien lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter. The family also spends time in Lima, Peru.
