"HOPE AND HEALING . . . You area pioneer in this field and you are breaking the trail for others to findhope and healing."
-KRISTI SMITH, Bestselling Author & International Speaker
"OUTSTANDING . . .Having organized a group project myself before, I know howchallenging it is! Lynda and her team did an outstanding job of moving allcontributors through the process in a gentle, yet efficient way. Most importantly, the project team set up questions for contributors that werefashioned to elicit thoughtful and insightful answers. There was no way toavoid it! If we were to answer the questions, we were going to have to reach deepinto our souls to share our experiences. I am so proud to be a part of these important works that will surely help somany navigate the minefield of grief a little better.
-MARY LEE ROBINSON, Author of The Widow or Widower Next Door, Creator of Set an Extra Plate Initiative
"DEEPLY INTIMATE . . . Loss of a Spouse is a deeply intimate, authentic collection of narratives that speak to the powerful, often ambiguous, and wide spectrum of emotions that arise from the loss of one's spouse. I so appreciate the vulnerability and truth embedded in these stories, which honor and bear witness to the many forms of bereavement that arise in the aftermath of loss." - DR. ERICA GOLDBLATT HYATT, Chair of Psychology, Bryn Athyn College
"STUNNING . . . Grief Diaries treats the reader to a rare combination of candor and fragility through the eyes of the bereaved. Delving into the deepest recesses of the heartbroken, the reader easily identifies with the diverse collection of stories and richly colored threads of profound love that create a stunning read full of comfort and hope." -DR. GLORIA HORSLEY, Founder & President of Open to Hope Foundation

A few months later while sifting through my wife's copious possessions and belongings, I saw the book, and started reading the chapter appropriately entitled, "The Belongings." I was stunned and humbled by the writings of the contributors and it finally clicked in my head about the purpose and meaning of this book.
Everyone who loses a spouse suffers through a different and unique experience, but there are common threads that connect all of them. This book is a perfect companion that offers insight and words from those who have experienced a similar loss. It is not from some detached academic engaged in mental masturbation for personal gain - this is raw emotion.
In fact, after my best friend's wife recently passed away from cancer at the age of 53, I gave him a copy of this book to help him cope with the ongoing and daily struggle that survivors must undertake.
