These would be great if they were supposed to be disposable. They worked fine for the grilling but after use, I soaked them then gently washed with a sponge, and one of them self-combusted. Now one area is just strings. We certainly didn't overheat them - we grilled at 350 degrees. Kind of pricey for one-use grill mats!

I was somewhat excited to try these after reading the product description. So I made some ribs on MEDIUM heat. Meat did not stick in any way - this is awesome! But when I removed the mats for cleaning, I noticed that the black rubber-like coating melting off, exposing the white fiberglass. I should have taken the $18 I spent on these and just run the bills through a paper shredder. Result would have been the same.

I am so thankful I ordered this product. Gone are the days of scrubbing my barbecue grate, even with heavy marinades applied to my food.
I love the fact that this is a mesh mat as opposed to a solid mat. Grill marks are great and allows smoke penetration. It is not flimsy and quite durable. Clean-up is an absolute breeze, just soap and warm water - no heavy scrubbing. It truly is non stick and I believe it will give me many many uses. I grill @ 450 deg and there is no evidence of burning, warping or any damage whatsoever. I've used it 4x and it still looks brand new.

when you grill it is inevitable to have flares popping up and after a couple of times using them... the teflon like covering went away even though i washed them with mild soap and a very soft sponge. i will look for a stainless steel grid instead

Using this saves me grease fires I’d normally get since it doesn’t drain to the fire. Food is cooked evenly and I still have grill marks on the food as it cooks. I bit the bullet and spent the money on this and am glad I did.

The drippings fall onto the flame and create smoke, flavoring the meat, A further benefit is the meat doesn't slide as easily as it did on the solid mat, This makes flipping a breeze.
