(Ok that title is in her handsome powerful Reaper dad's eyes, ) but Aisling Grimwold is the baby and only girl of a pile of older brothers, one her twin Aiden, and this adventure gives us his perspective on life and times with his sister, well screwing up a reaping assignment and needing his help, which lands him at the very home expo he has put his foot down with his partner Jerry about not attending. So not only is he bailing out Aisling, but he's losing his stance in an argument about....redecorating, that has blown out of control. As usual Aisling has a plan for both, as Jerry is her very best friend in the world, and she and her fiance have a stake in the outcome, since they live next door and enjoy homemade breakfast everyday Jerry's not irritated. Aidan is aware of her selfish reasons for trying to both capture the soul and fix his kerfluffle, but can it be that easy? Oh yeah. There's a second soul to collect too. Easy peasy.
Excellent plot, Aidan's inner thought process is interesting, and the interactions of he and Jerry and Aisling and Griffin and the mix and match from his persctive really rounds out things you didn't know you were missing.
Another hit with a glimpse of a cross series book in the future? That would be a total win!
