The only quibble I have is Aisling's best friend, Jerry. There was one time where he didn't come off as shrill and unhelpful. I recognize they feed off each other to an extent, but what best friend confirms anyone's worst fears, and then compounds on them? And when is he going to stand up for himself? He's like a bad 80s sitcom parody of a gay man. So much more can be done with him, so much better can be done by him. He's one dimensional at worst, disappointing at best. He has his own successful business? How can someone portrayed as so flighty and frivolous be a responsible successful business owner?
