Its The Grinch, what more is there to say?

I've always loved "The Grinch" growing up, so I had to get this for my kiddos this Christmas. I haven't given it to them yet, and I won't be til the night before christmas as their "night before christmas box", but I flipped through the pages already. The book has that nice crisp new book feel where it's almost hard to turn the pages because of how tight the binding is, but I love that. It arrived clean and no scratches or anything on the cover which is always nice!

I ordered this book to read give to my child on Christmas Eve. The actual size of the book is a little larger than other Dr. Seuss books I have but I like the larger size. It is actually the same size as "The Lorax" which I also bought on Amazon but larger than the other 10 or so Dr. Seuss books that my kids have. We really enjoyed reading this book together on Christmas Eve. This is fun story with a good message and great illustrations. My kids were engaged and enjoyed this book. It would also be good for young readers to read themselves. I would definitely recommend this book. It would also make a great gift for a child.

Well, I don't even know how to review this. It is a classic. The binding and quality of the book are awesome! Our son read it to our daughter on Christmas Eve. This is a favorite of mine even above the night before Christmas and it will be kept out all year long as a story to remember to appreciate life and not be too dependent on the fleeting "things." Love it!

I purchased this because we had to leave our other copy behind in Ireland when we moved here this year. I couldn't let a Christmas go by that we didn't read this book, and it has always been one of our favourites. They only thing I wish they would do (and have always wished) is make the pages full colour...it's mostly black and white, and I think it would gain a lot in appearance with some colour...my daughter offered to colour in the Grinch throughout the pages this year, and I think I'm going to let her. It's a good quality copy of the book, with some metallic red and green on the cover, which adds some zing to it...I recommend to anyone who knows the book or has never heard it...it's a classic!

I loved this story growing up. Dr. Seuss is STILL my favorite author and I enjoy reading the books to my 3 year old son. This classic story tells of a grouchy "Grinch" who hates Christmas and what he perceives it to be all about. In the end, he has a change of heart. The rhymes are catchy, the art is beautifully done and the message it sends to readers young and old will be remembered!
I ordered this with 2 day shipping and it arrived the very next afternoon, too so kudos to the seller!

The book is bigger than I thought it would be and the cover is a red shiny metallic color.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boss. He told us he was a grinch, and we also decorated our office as whoville. Because everything was Grinch themed, I figured his gift should be too. It was also a gift he could share with his children.

What a joy to read and to share!

When I was a child, I found the Dr. Seuss books a bit scary because I didn't much like abstract or surreal stuff. Fast forward many years and I have a daughter who is just learning to read so after seeing that she enjoyed a Dr. Seuss book in the doctor's office I thought I would order this book and give it a spin. This particular edition comes in a nice metallic finish green and red cover. It feels like a quality book.
After reading it to her the first night, I had to read it two more nights after that in succession. It was great fun for me too because the rhyming prose allows the reader (who may not be a great thespian) to do some role playing and added intonation. The illustrations are both unusual and vivid which helps stimulate the young reader's imagination. Finally, the essential story message which is to have a heart is a good one particularly in times such as these. Highly recommended!
