Well, I thought I'd write a little review that was a compilation of all my highlights in The Grit Project (there were quite a few underlines and notes in the margins), however, as I went forward I found that was impossible. The problem is that all of my favorite quotes have to do with the entire page that comes before the quote itself - a page full of satirical storytelling, artful illustration, and other interesting tidbits of fact. Therefore, I'll leave you with just one quote, and it's one that I hope sums up something of the 110 page book from page 56.
"I don't pretend to understand God, or the weather, or the ways of margarine...What I know is that sometimes the audacity to believe that something huge and wonderful and mysterious out there will occasionally do a guy like me a solid, is all you need."
