The neighbors want to take him.
They cannot have him.
Hold onto it.
Take care of it.
Won't be surprised if this 1st edition Release goes for $500+ this Holiday season from resellers & price gouges. Wouldn't be surprised if it sells for $1000. Look at all these reviews of people who are in "love" with it. That feeling is not going away.
The clothing is nicely done and soft. Dude even has finger nails... Er claws.. Whatever they are lol.
Not sure how many were made or on the way. But it's not like Elmo toy where it was for kids. This will be an icon in the SW universe for generations to come. I know more adults who have this than their kids lol.

I purchased my Child back in December and paid 24.99 for him. His robe is made of a scratchy burlap type polyester fabric and his body is green polyester filled with plastic pellets. Also, the hem of his robe is not stitched...it time this could cause the bottom of the robe to start to fray. His hands and head are soft molded vinyl. His eyes are made of resin. One thing that stands out to me is, he has no feet. This is not a deal breaker for me on this item but it could be to some collectors. Some other reviewers have commented that he is not very green. This one is mint green and, to me, is true to the character’s coloring. His packaging is made up to resemble his galactic baby pram.
The overall effect, this toy is adorable and although feetless, is well made. While I would purchase this product again, I would not pay more than the 25 dollars I originally paid when I pre-ordered. :D

Anyway here I am, with this doll. It's been sitting on my desk, watching my every move and sometimes using the force to choke unwanted phone calls (working from home). I still can't tell if there is a camera installed by the FBI in those big, adorable, bubbly eyes, but hey, I'll take my chances. On a product quality note, it's hard to believe that I got something of that quality for only 40$ (I'm seeing it's down to 29,00$ now, just grab it people).
My girlfriend thinks I'm a little kid, but what the hell does she know about raising a child anyway?
If you're thinking about having kids, think twice; you could get this mute son instead. Plus, no schools fees, no diapers, and no sleep deprivation. When he grows up, I'm hoping we can do some hiking in the marshes so that he can teach me the Force and lift spaceships in the air.
