I also appreciate Mr. G's classical approach to finance and society. You're going to read a lot of content that you won't read in school. If you want to take life by the horns...do yourself a favor and start with this book.
I'm looking forward to the next opus!
Be honorable because people will return that favor in many ways, including real dollar dividends. Get fit and lose weight because it could save you thousands in health care costs, not to mention being more important than money. Find ways to be happier and establish more freedom in your life. These are areas that all connect with building a net worth that can support you on its own and give you the big picture on how money can come your way when you work to make yourself a better person.
This encouragement is a key part of what makes the book so valuable. The book contains concrete strategies to build wealth. Become "half normal", exercise "strategic ignorance", or learn to apply Geoarbitrage from the man who put that concept on the financial independence map.
