This is a hard one to review without giving out spoilers, but I'll do my best!
Mirella. I was never truly disgusted by her till this last book. Disgusted because her selfishness bordered on cruelty. I truly think she loved both men, but I personally think she was only "in love" with one man. Her behavior was very destructive and caused a personality change in one man that I did not anticipate.
Weston. I think he was so blinded by his infatuation with Mirella that he could hardly see straight. And then when the bomb that book 2 ended with finally gets dropped on him he sees this opportunity as almost a do-over; regain the life, love and happiness that he had lost and I think he really kind of goes over the deep end after that.
Gabe. I was amazed by his patience to be quite honest. Gabe was truly between a rock and a hard place for much of this book. I really think Gabe had the most personal growth throughout the story, which surprised me.
Bridget, I feel like I hardly knew you. Bridget was absent for much of this story.
In the end, am I happy? I am and I'm not. I am happy a choice was made and happy that all parties involved seem to be happy with the results. I'm a little unhappy with the nail that sealed the proverbial coffin towards the end, but it was said often throughout that what they had wasn't real, it was a fairytale and this development certainly made that come true. I can't help but wonder if this is truly the end, but I guess only Roya knows that.
If you like to be consumed, for a book to make you feel ALL the emotions, then I highly recommend this series. The way I feel about it is very similar to the Thoughtless series when it's all said and done, that love/hate relationship between the story and some of the characters.

I hated that ending! It was completely unsatisfying! Sorry, but if I'm going to go through all that emotional turmoil for a series, it darn well...Read more
