I've used expensive vanilla extracts and pastes, but this powder beats them all. Just open the jar and the vanilla aroma will hit your nose. In cookies, bars, and cakes, it imparts an excellent vanilla flavor that I never get with other forms of vanilla. Highly recommended, if you can get past the price (there's not a lot in that little jar!).
