The product is advertised as powdered but what I recieved was granulated, about the size of rock salt. I specifically wanted powdered so it would break down faster in the soil, so I wasn't too happy with my purchase. I could have bought granulated Domolite Lime at Home Depot for a fraction of the cost. In my opinion Growmore should not be advertising this product as powdered.

this would have been 5 stars if not for the bait and switch shenanigans . I found this product listed 6lb bag free shipping so I placed in shopping cart be for I completed transaction it now said a 4lb bag .
well it seemed odd and maybe slightly pricy but I ordered it anyway .slow slow shipping.
well the product was great about 10 mesh granules not powder .

well despite the size switch and slightly pricy I decided to order two more bags .

I was SHOCKED ! they had Jacked the price to $20 Ridiculous ..please $8 wasto much for a small 4lb bag. .

Forget $20 for a small 4lb bag . to bad this is a good product .I would gladly buy again at a reasonable price .

Not a gigantic box or bag, about the size of a box of cereal. Seems to work just fine. Too bad it has been discontinued by manufacturer. I'd use this over the MG tomato lime - main reason is this is only lime and has no other junk added to it.

I didn't realize they were granules when I purchased them. While I can't use granules in my starter veggies, I can mix it into the garden out back so it's not wasted. It's surprising to see the difference this stuff makes when it comes to garden yields.

I have a formula for my tomato boxes that calls for the dolomite lime and have had excellent results in the past but could not get any of the dolomite locally. I had it hear in a "wink" ordering it via amazon. and my plants are great!

It was recommended for me to buy Dolomite Lime to add to my soil to prevent Blossom End Rot (BER) on my tomatoes and pepper plants.
This is my first ever attempt at gardening and my tomatoes, while producing a high yield, suffered greatly from BER. I was completely devastated seeing all my hard work from babying them from seeds all the way to full grown adult plants, go down the drain.
In 1 day I had to throw 17 tomatoes in the compost bin.

After much research I realized my soul was either lacking calcium or the plants were not able to utilize the calcium that was there. I read a lot of great things about this product and decided to try it.

I added the recommend amount to my container tomatoes and pepper bed. My tomatoes are now on their second crop and no sign of BER in sight and they are definitely a lot bigger than the first crop.

When I added the Dolomite Lime to my pepper beds, I didn't have peppers growing yet but I wanted to tackle the problem BEFORE it arose. Now I have TONS of healthy and huge bell and jalapeño peppers growing and NONE of them have BER!!!!
This product is doing its job. Next season I will be getting my soil tested and if needed, I will add this early on before planting to give it time to work its way into the soil.
