It is not the case you have to agree with his particular ideas of why the earth is growing and developing. It is the idea that he is there trying and his work is though-provoking and commendable. During this journey, he gives a great summary of the history and facts of the idea that the earth is growing - a theory that is starting to gain more and more acceptance around the world despite the main streams efforts to suppress it.
The earth is growing and this is someone who has spent six decades studying this area. It is a not only a must read for those interested in a growing earth hypothesis, it is one of the few books out there on the subject - a monumental task from an incredible journey by one unafraid, astute student of the world and a life-time of work. This subject will someday be mainstream and Shehu will be seen as one of its pioneers.
There are so few books in this area, this is a must read. Once it is mainstream, this area will be THE area in science spanning subjects from sub-atomic particles to the creation of galaxies.
This book, if it can be called that, is based on the hypothesis that the Earth is expanding. It's not a theory at least not in the scientific sense of the word even if the author wants to call it that. And the good author is a geologist with a Ph.D which means he should know this.
It basically talks about the Earth having a "cosmic" center which we don't understand and because of this it generates matter and this is what is causing the Earth to expand. No evidence or testing, scientific or otherwise, is given to show that this hypothesis is correct. And yet, he and others still believe this.
In the end it's really not that well written or that interesting and should only be considered as a gag gift for those that have some knowledge of geology and plate tectonics.
