Normally I don't understand when people post reviews before a product has been released, but I can understand the excitement, and this is the first time I'm doing it. I will edit this and give it a proper review once I have received my pre-ordered copy. I'm just so excited to see this is being released, I have to post something.

After such a looong wait since season one was released, literally years, it looks like we are finally getting season two. Hooray-it's about time. If you like Growing Pains, you already know the basics of the show. Many fans, including me, have been waiting for more dvd releases. I wonder if the passing of Andrew Koenig, who played Mike's friend Boner, had anything to do with it. Maybe someone decided to take another look at the show and realized it needed more proper dvd releases. I don't know, that's just a completely wild guess. But I do know there will be many happy fans getting this dvd.

I have most of season 2 (and some of 3) on vhs tapes, and I watch those episodes more than I watch the season 1 dvds. I like the first season of course, but I think the show got funnier and was written better in seasons 2 and 3. The characters became better too.

Finally Growing Pains season 2 comes to dvd!!!!! People who own the great season 1 most likely thought we would never get anymore... it took a long while but it is finally here! Growing Pains season 2 is a must own season and THE season that made it one of the most popular shows of the 80's.
*crosses fingers that it sells well* cause if it does... we will get season 3!
A true must own :)

I also would like to mention that unlike many sitcoms.. Growing Pains never gets aired anymore! Lots of sitcoms can be seen everyday at many times. This classic does not.. I think it's played like once a week at 5 in the morning or something. So it's amazing to get a classic sitcom that never gets played anymore and have the complete uncut episodes!!

I like this season just as much as season 1, every episode is really good, i really liked the new look with Tracey Gold, she changed her hair style and wore better clothes, also she didn't wear those big glasses as much, i have always liked her, thought she was so attractive and cute, had a crush on her at that time, a couple of episodes that stand out as my favorites are, when Mike is pressured into using cocaine and doesn't give in to it, the other is when Carol tries to get a nose job and Mike tells her shes pretty, that was a touching episode and showed another side of Mike to Carol that he wasn't as mean as she thought he was, overall great season, the video quality could be a little better in some episodes, but most look good, only other thing i don't like is there's only 3 discs, season 1 had 4 with pictures of the cast on every disc, i hate to say it but i think they went cheap this time for some reason and didn't do as much as season 1 because they probably weren't sure how many people would buy it, i only hope it doesn't take another 5 years for season 3 to be released.

I have been waiting for this for YEARS! I have watched the first season at least twelve times and I am so happy that this is finally coming to DVD. I hope this signals that ABC is going to release the entire series because it has been questionable up until this release was announced. But now I can't wait until April!

This is a great season. It develops the Seaver family into fun characters. The comedy holds up, even...in 2015 (obviously some are dated. Ben's name is Benjamin Hubert Horatio Humphrey Seaver...as in Hubert Humphrey...vice president to Lyndon Johnson). The episodes (if you watched syndication) are going to hit you with familiarity.

Another great season of Growing Pains. Mike, Carol and the rest of the troupe return for season two of this beloved series. Mike (Cameron) prepares for graduation. Carol (Gold) considers rhinoplasty and Ben (Miller) begins puberty? This season is subtitled in english for the deaf.
