I'm writing this for my 9 year old daughter. We just got this in the mail and as shes skimming through it, she sees this page that says "fu" on it. She of course knows what that means and now doesn't want anything to do with the book because she wanted to donate it to the school library and now can't. I'm half tempted to send it back but now I'm curious what else might be in this book. Unfortunately, I would not recommend buying this book for elementary age kids.

By the way, Kindle readers, I'd spring for the hard copy if you're inclined to buy the book. Many of the pages are clearly intended to be double-layouts, so you're left swiping back and forth to get the full visual image, and the activities are of the kind requiring a pen/pencil. (The three star review is aimed at the Kindle version; for a hard copy, I'd probably give it four).

I hate to admit it but this book made me smile many many times. I feel I have let down the whole Grumpy Cat universe! My apologies. Altho I am usually a very grumpy person (just ask my husband)this book was SO Grumpy that it had the opposite effect on me. So be warned !! If you are having a wonderfully grumpy/cranky/terrible/awful/stinky day this book may make you feel slightly better so you should probably avoid it until you can stare into those Grumpy eyes & those grumpy lips without cracking up or allowing a single ray of sunshine to fall upon your face. It's your Grumpy duty & just because I have failed in my quest to resist the pleasures of this book doesn;t mean that you have to follow me into the sadness of defeat. Perhaps it is best said that to resist the Grumpster is futile. It may be better to avoid this cat altogether.
NAH !!!!!!! Enjoy the heck outta this silly if over-used "grumpy"cat face. Life is short, share the Grumpy cat with your friends & loved ones. I showed it to my cats & they were totally unimpressed. Grumpy/Lumpy/Stumpy .... where's my darn food!! Why would you waste your time looking at that cat book when you have US ....... Ohhhhh stupid humans. They are so easily entertained & amused.
