This was a fantastic, hilarious romcom and one you definitely want to read! And don’t forget to read the bonus extended epilogue, you do not want to miss it!
Dr. Leah Levee is an orthopedic surgeon hired to rehab Rhett's knee after his accident. Problem is, she is hired with inaccurate information. She knows how serious the injury was and how he hasn't really been rehabbing correctly but that's about all the accurate info she has.
As you might imagine this leads to interesting meeting. Max Monroe never disappoint in the laugh department and this book is full of their typical humor and steam. Thanks to Tex, Jenny, Tiny and Joey its also got a great supporting cast of characters.
If you laugh out loud while reading and embarrass easily, don't read this in public because you'll find yourself laughing and blushing.
After a major injury, one he's not letting heal properly, his dad hires orthopedic doctor Leah Levee to oversee his rehab. She is just so perfect for him. She is up to the challenge of getting him to follow doctors orders and is hilarious doing it. I loved watching these two bicker back and forth, and I loved watching them get to their HEA.
Bonus to this story? Rhett's 5 year old daughter!! Gosh I just loved her and her sass.
Get ready to laugh hysterically and feel all the feels!
After meeting Rhett and Joey in the extended epilogue for Hot Stuff, I was crossing my toes that they’d get their own book, because seriously? Hot cowboy with adorably precocious and sassy daughter? Um, yes, please...and OM this book gave me everything I wanted and then some. It was all kinds of eye rolling, snort laughing fun, filled with great characters and a truly adorable 5 year old that scared and impressed me all at the same time (trust me, you’ll see after reading the book).
Rhett had me torn between swooning while my ovaries exploded and wanting to grab a 2x4 and Gibbs smack him with it ~ mostly in the first half of the book, but still ~ this man. He’s such a good man. He loves his daughter, his family and the ranch, but WOW is he all kinds of stubborn. Leah was a force and when she dug in her heels ~ whether in heels, boots or sneakers ~ she dug them in and didn’t give up. But for as stubborn as she could be, she had a golden heart that just drew you in. And then there is Miss Josephine aka Joey aka Jojo aka the most adorable, impressive yet scary five year old you’ll ever meet. She knows who she is and makes no apologies for it.
Their journey to their HEA was a rocky one ~ in many ways ~ but it was all kinds of fun. Rhett and Leah gave as good as they got and even when they were “enemies” they still had this chemistry that was undeniable. And once they got past the “enemies” thing...well, to say that they were meant to be is an understatement. But there always has to be wrench tossed into the mix, and it was and wasn’t a surprise, but I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.
This was simply a fun read. It has a great balance of all the things I love about a good romcom and then some. The “and then some” includes a great cast of secondary characters from Rhett’s family to the workers on the ranch to Leah’s own friends and family. They all added a lot of goodness to this book and I wouldn’t mind catching up with them at some point in the future.

Rhett has a bit of an accident and while he should be resting his leg he has to much to do running the ranch and being a single dad to his daughter Joey who has to be the cutest kid ever! Enough is enough though when Tex, Rhett's Dad has had enough of his son not listening and decides to hire a doctor to help with his rehab.
When Dr Leah Levee rocks up to the ranch she is in for a culture shock, she is a city girl at heart and when she get handed a map of the best cell signal spots she begins to wonder what she has let herself in for!
Rhett definitely met his match when Leah arrived on the ranch! From the moment these two met there were sparks flying!
I laughed out loud at their first meeting for different reason Rhett went all Grumpy Cowboy on us after realising his Dad had hired him a "babysitter" and well Leah wasn't quite expecting Rhett!
Another absolutely must read, you will fall in love with Rhett, Leah and Joey!
A fantastic, fun read that you should definitely add to your tbr immediately
name thats what Leah thought after meeting him expecting to see a 14 year old but got Rhett and his young daughter plus Rhett 's father and mother. Leah was a doctor dropped into a cowboys ranch to help with Rhett 's rehabilitation only to find herself at loggerheads with the grumpy cowboy but in love with his daughter. This was enjoyable
