My kids enjoy this product a lot! I like how it encourages them to brush the inside of their teeth in addition to the front and tops!

I wish I had this when I was a kid!
At first I didn't like the idea of my daughter playing more mobile games, but then I realized that this is 2016 and if it actually gets her to BRUSH HER TEETH then I'm all for it. Bathroom time is fun time now, and no more yelling!

I was so excited about this product but I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied. I wasted my money and should have just purchased the sonicare toothbrush re-fills. The toothbrush doesn't pair with the phone and when it does it gets disconnected and we have to do it all over again. My kids were so upset because they were so excited to use it. I would not recommend you to buy it.

There are a lot of positive reviews on this product so I decided to buy it. Grush is a really cool idea but very poor implementation. I have designed and develop bluetooth apps that work with hardware, I can think of many tweaks I can make that would make it work better.
1) 6-Year old does not have enough time to get the monster. When she does, the grush does not register so she has to move her mouth to get it. (calibration issues) There is no way to calibrate the Grush via the application.
2) you have to be right handed, yes it mentions this in the manual that you HAVE to start with right hand and brush head right in the middle, but my daughter has her right arm in a cast due to elbow injury, so she cannot use it, she does not understand so now her calibration is all off.
3) Bluetooth connection is really unreliable with ipad. Some time it connects and some time it doesn't. I have to go through whole routine to take the battery out, put it back in, let it sit until the light turns off on grush. Toggle bluetooth on ipad and then it connects. A 6 year old would not know how to do this.
4) I have no idea how The parent companion app works. It had no user interface to let you know that you have to connect to the existing Grush and if there are multiple Grush then you wouldn't know which one is connected and which one isn't. We have used it over a month but it still tells me that neither one of my kids have brush their teeth EVER.
