Action, passion, loyalty, intrigue blended just right for an amazing story! I love when the good guys go hunting the bad guys. Wonderful story-line with incredibly crafted characters enable me to dive into the world the author has created and go on the journey with them. Such an amazing roller coaster of events and supporting characters that i am happily tired from my amazing day with these characters.

Cole and Cade are steamier than ever now that they are openly in love and committed to each other. Meeting Cade's family was amazing and full of touching moments and lots of fun scenes.

The third installment of the the Black Raiders was really awesome and i cannot wait for the next book! So many possibilities ahead and i want to read them all!

Loved this third addition to a great series

When i first came across Ana Night's book, A Detached Raider, i was hoping for a good book and was so surprised and happy that it surpast my expectations. Now hooked on this series i was so happy to get the chance to read the third book in the series. A Guarded Raider picks up right where the second book, Deceiving a Raider ended, so it is important to read the books in order.

With this book we learn more about Cade and his family when he and the Raiders head to England hoping to track down information on Richard. Cade comes from a very interesting background and I not only loved watching as Cade reunite with his family but watching as Cole learned to handle them. I found myself laughing many times while they were in England. There is a scene were Cole and Franklin are in one of the castle's tunnels that will really make you laught out loud so be prepared. The men aren't in England very long before they head back home and walked into even more trouble than what they expected. The police department still seems to have a mole and he is wecking havoc in the department and once the culprit is revealed readers will be surprised.

This book is almost non-stop action from the first page and the fast paced action is just one of the things i love about Ms. Night's work. The fact that she brings a world of rich characters alive and leaves me wanting more has made her a must buy for me. Fans of the mystery sub-genre really need to check this series out. It is sure to make them a fan.

Another exciting installment that brings back our main couple.

Action that keep you entertain, lovey-dovey moments with Cade and Cole (loved those), loyalty that is shown throughout the story between the characters, family issues (yep, we all have those), a bad guy that is one step ahead and a mystery that kept me up until very late.

I loved that Cade and Cole are in a more harmonious relationship now that they are a couple. It was also very interesting to see Cade's family that adds to the plot. But things get rocky when the bad guy re-appears and we go back to the detective-mystery which I really enjoyed since I was afraid this was going to turn into a family-reunion kind of book.

I look forward to the next one. And I hope we get new couples in the way.

This is the 3rd book of this series and looks like Ana has enough mystery, suspense, chemistry, characters, love and loyalty to make a spin-off series. I have never read another book that has such wonderful banter between all the characters involved. Would love to meet this author, she probably is a hoot and how she can keep all the characters and the storyline straight is beyond me. (But in a good way) I especially love Cole. Cade at times seems a little immature to me and maybe a little oversexed. lol The suspense, mystery keeps me enthralled and I want to hurry to find the ending and then when I get to the end, I want it to continue. Great series and highly recommend if you like m/m romantic suspense. I'm hoping these two finally get married.

The third installment of the the Black Raiders was another great story by Ana Night. I felt like meeting Cade’s family was an interesting caveat but was a separate storyline from the mystery that has been ongoing in this series. Once I got to the half of the book that goes back into the mystery I couldn’t put this book down. I’m so intrigued with what will happen next with Cole and Cade. And Ana has definitely set up a spin-off of the Black Raiders with both the detectives of BPD and Cole’s raider brothers. And of course there is the mysterious Neil that is begging for his story to be told. If you love romantic suspense this is the book and series for you.

Terrific series!

Cade and Cole are back, and they are still incredible in book three of this terrific series. We get more of Cade's crazy family and more of the BPD mole storyline. I love it! My only problem is that the cast of characters keeps growing faster than I can keep up with. I keep having to go back to figure out who some people are. The action, the humor, and the love between all these people, especially Cole and Cade, is what keeps bringing me back to this series. I am having a great time with iit, and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Book 3 of a great series

This is the third book in The Black Raiders series, and it continues where the prior book left off. This book is not a standalone, you will need to have read the previous two books to get a full understanding of this one. An exciting, action-filled story which at times kept me on the edge of my seat, at times made me laugh, and at other times were quite sexy and steamy. I have loved the whole series thus far, and I expect that a fourth book will be forthcoming for this series.

These books are habit forming. The two protagonists are delightful. This is a gay series, but it's also Jason Bourne. The books are really worth reading. I can picture each book as a 13 part TV series.

I had been looking forward to this book and I am so happy that the story is not done yet. Cole, Cade and Franklin are my favourite characters and the love between Cole and Cade is now firmly cemented. They are out as a couple and living together.

I found the errors with using the wrong words a bit annoying, simple things like using reclined instead of declined if my memory serves me. These errors, while small, throw my reading off as I puzzle over the meaning. There were a few of them.

I did not like Cade's family much and the Fagin element did not appeal to me. The idea of his family raising children to lie, cheat and scam their way through life was not to my taste. At the halfway point I felt nothing much had happened. The Raiders were barely mentioned in the UK and the huge issue with Cade's family was a non event. The big mission to retrieve the flash drive was also a damp squib as it was literally handed over. The second half of the book was so much better and back on form. We are still searching for Richard. Hopefully he will bump of a few in the UK before he is caught. Too many unnecessary characters. I am English and was looking forward to Cade's story but it is best forgotten.
I am now waiting for the little black box to show up again. I eagerly await book 4.
