I don't know why the dimensions are not included in the product description, but they aren't. It is smaller than it looks in the picture; I would have liked one about double the size. It would be nice if the consumer was offered a choice in sizes considering this is,unfortunately, the only pool of its kind. Fiberglass is so 1980 and inflatables are in, which lasted all of 15 minutes with my dog. So I got this pool for $90, which my dog loved. Then I went inside, and checked on him a half hour later and he had started chewing off the side. Much to my disappointment, the panels that hold up the sides are made of cardboard... I would have expected something a little more durable for the price. So now I am patching up the holes because once the cardboard disintegrates, it's worthless. Why is this pool $90? Why are there no competitors? If you have a dog who loves water but isn't prone to chewing, and the $90 doesn't deter you (though, it doesn't matter because there's no other game in town) then give this product 5 stars. For the rest of us, it gets three AT BEST. I would not buy this pool if I had it to do over again.

***UPDATE 1/12/2012**** I finally found the solution to my dog pool needs. I bought my dog one of those circular 6'x2' cattle troughs (keyword search "galvanized round stock tank"). I bought mine at Tracter Supply Co. and hauled it on my friend's truck. It was no easy feat, let me tell you, but we got it done and now my dog has an indestructable dog pool to splash around in, which HE LOVES. It was also expensive, mine cost about $300. There are smaller/cheaper ones that would be suitable for smaller dogs. My dog is a 75lb, tall and lean Great Dane Mix. So the tank has a drain hole at the bottom where I screwed in a hose for easy draining.

Let me first say that my dog loved this pool (as he loves any pool) and it is very easy to set up and store. However, the materials are not in the least dog-proof, which is surprising for a pool for dogs!
After setting up and filling the pool, I delighted in watching my dog romp and splash, jump in and out of the pool and have a great time for over an hour. Then I went inside for a little while. When I returned about twenty minutes later, I beheld lots of card-board pieces and bits of red and blue plastic littering the yard. The sides of this pool are made of a cardboard type material, so if there is a puncture even, the cardboard could get wet and mold. My dog enjoyed tearing this new 'toy' to shreds (probably as much as he enjoyed splashing in it) which was exceedingly easy for him. So, unless your dog is completely uninterested in chewing or even biting down on the side (or you can supervise and not leave your dog unattended even briefly, if he does like to chew) I do not recommend this pool.
My dog weighs around 75 pounds, and can easily lie down in this pool without his body being covered in water (maybe half covered) and his body took up most of the pool when he laid down (I think the lab in the photo is maybe half grown). It's not a very big pool, but it seemed great at first. In the end, this was the most expensive chew toy ever.

My lab and australian shepherd love this! It's big enough for both of them to play in, and it's easy to set up (You just unfold it). My husband loves that you can drain it just by unscrewing the drain when they get the water muddy. In the past I've bought them 3 of the plastic pools which you have to tip over to drain and clean, and with the sun they've ended up cracked. This is one of the best things I could have bought my girls.

It is a very easy pool to set up. My dog (puppy 6mo) loved it! In fact he loved it so much that when I was not looking he ate the side and ripped the bottom. He did enjoy himself though!! For the price I would not buy this again until my pup is older and less rambuncsious. The plastic is just to thin for sharp teeth. But I can see an older dog enjoying this pool!

I recieved this pool and everything about it looks great, until you set it up. My dogs were very excited to use it, because they love water in the hot summer days. Very disapointed to see the top is made of cardboard and where it was folded for packing and shipping, in the creases were holes...the water drains out fast. There is alot of patch work to be done on this pool. If i had to do over again i would not have purchaced this item. Not worth the money. It didnt even get one use out of it, holes were there as soon as we filled it up.

The Good It is easy to let the water out of and move, my dog loved it.

The Bad: If you have a dog who likes to tear up things it is not a great pool, ours lasted less than a month. The demon child pulled off the top binding. The pool is make of a waterproof cloth and cardboard. All he did was bite and pull and it was killed, can not fix.

I bought the large for my dogs, an elderly LARGE (118 lbs.) German Shepherd, and a 20 lb. Cavachon.

CONS:
The walls are too high for the dogs to get in and out comfortably. The Shepherd can't lift her rear legs that high any more, and the Cavachon has to jump over the side to get in. Also, the water heats up VERY fast. So you have to empty and refill it almost everyday, or it becomes a warm water tub. Barely big enough for the big dog to stand in. She has always loved to turn and splash in her old pools, but there isn't enough room in this pool for that.

PROS:
It is very easy to "assemble." Just spread out and fill. Very easy to empty, just unscrew the plug. Great, if you're a camper, like me, and want your dags to have a pool at your camp site.

All in all, I'm disappointed because my "kids" aren't excited by their new pool. I have used larger kiddie pools, which I reinforced, in the past, and they LOVED them. Not so with this one. My Shepherd goes in, stands there for a few seconds and comes out. My Cavachon just looks over the side. Back to the kiddie pools for us.
