Not a fan of modern comic illustration but story did fill in a few holes in the movie.

A decent start to an ongoing series. The issues done by Pichelli are amazing and lots of fun. It was a fun enough read to give GotG another try with Volume 2: Angela, which I don't regret purchasing.

Fun tidbits and decent plot. Excellent art but it was slow to draw me in unlike other guardians books. Fun to read along side the war of kings plot. I'd buy vol.2 to see how things pan out.

Jason doesn't just call himself starboard because he's a jerk. He's also not raised by scavengers, so in general this is all around better.

Really enjoyed the artwork, the story, and the script. I'm very happy for this to be my introduction into the series. This will become a regularly scheduled read.
