Buyer beware bottle was switched for and older batch

So I decided to take a risk and purchase clogne online knowing especially after reading reviews on here thats there is a possibility I might get ripped off, but seeing how I made sure to buy from Amazon directly (which it was) I figured it would be okay. So I received my clogne today and everything seemed fine but on closer inspection I notice it had been tampered with but it was obvious whoever opened it didn't want anyone to notice it had been, so then I start to get that gut feeling something wasn't right, so I compared batch numbers from both the bottle and the box and sure enough they didn't match. So now am getting angry, feeling like I just got taken. Immediately I go online and check on checkfresh.com and checkcomsmetics.net and was a little relieved to see it was an authentic Gucci bottle BUT my bottle was produced in April 2016 and the number on the box, that batch was made in Oct 2017 which obviously means they knew what they were doing and were trying to be slick and gave me an older batch . So buyer beware and even though am disappointed by this purchase and technically I can't say I did get ripped off (cause it is real) but yet I feel like I kinda did. And yes am a little sour at that but it's better then receiving a complete fake. So needless to say I won't be purchasing clogne through Amazon any longer cause I thought a company as big as they are would have better quality contro

The actual Gucci Guilty is much stronger scent and lasts a lot longer than whatever I received.

Was definitely skeptical but with the amount of high reviews , I gave it a shot. Actually while I was waiting I stopped at the mall and smelled it in person ... I wasn’t impressed and literally walked out buying Mont Blanc. Although I do like Mont Blanc , my Gucci came in the mail today . I opened it , smelled it and loved it . But as I tried it I looked at my order again and decided to look into more reviews.
So I looked into a few more and one actually pointed out the date ( in which a lady at Macy’s in the mall told me “ never buy on Amazon or online because you have no idea of the born on date “) did not match the bottle from the box. So I quickly got on checkcosmetic.net and checked the date . Turned out it is 1 year older in date of the bottle I bought at the mall .. and the one from Amazon was bottled Sept 2019 and it’s January 2020 !!!!

I’m impressed.. glad I went with the reviews ..

Found this scent in a retail store a while before I bought the actual bottle, and was okay with it going based off first impressions, but learned to absolutely love it once it arrived. Less is definitely more in this colognes case, with A very deep and “modern” scent while still being a relatively light spray, and lasts as long as you aren’t dripping sweat, haha. Use it for work (waiter) and social events, and have gotten nothing but compliments. 5/5 and would definitely recommend to anyone who works in a social industry.

This product has the exact smell as the real one. Honestly it is a very nice smell that is considered to be romantic and masculine by far. Its relatively strong but smells great and will last hours on end if sprayed properly on proper points of the body, but NEVER apply cologne to clothing as is does not portray the smell as well as on the skin. It is well worth the money and I have gotten multiple compliments regarding how nice this cologne smells and I love this scent eve since I bought the three bottles I've previously has before this.

Awesome Product. I have never bought perfumes online. Because I am more like a "Too good to be true. Buying perfumes online means rip off" but I gotta admit that the product is exactly the same as what I have bough before in store, so as a gucci fan I am surprised. A pleasing fragrance for the modern man

This is the only Gucci fragrance in my collection - which normally consists of Chanel, Jean-Peal Gaultier, Givenchy and Hermes aftershaves. People tend to stick to fragrance families more than brands themselves, and I was pleased to find a Gucci fragrance which appealed to me in the same way as my other choice bottles.

The bottle is a bit of a pain as the lid doesn’t come off so easily and the bottle itself is quite thin in profile making it a little unstable if you’re clumsy (which I am), but they are minor gripes.

The fragrance doesn’t last through an entire day, and I find the price of £43 (At time of review) to be only fair as opposed to good value, hence I am prepared to give this product 3 stars.
