To simulate the original packaging the controller had been stuck inside of one of those cellophane cones that you put a bouquet of flowers in, and then they used a hot knife to melt the end together. Not a bad simulation, tbh, but not “new”
The controller itself has clearly seen some use, most obvious in the wear on the cable and the droopy whammy bar, but they at least made an effort to clean it up, though it’s not spotless.
Plugged it in and it plays fine, the buttons are a bit stiff, but I assume that might fix itself once it gets a generous coating of sweat from my hand. Hard to compare the buttons to the other one I have that I bought in 2008 when I don’t know how much this one was actually played versus just sitting in a closest collecting dust.
Can’t find my tool box right now to open it up, but if the inside isn’t too scary I’ll be pretty happy with this purchase even considering the scam pricing. If the inside is really scary then hopefully there’s at least still parts I can use to fix my other one when it breaks.
Guitar works 100%. Guitar was dirty. A few wipes and it's fine.
It didn't initially come with a breakaway cable, so I had a guitar that was just lying there for about a week until I just went to my retro store and they had one for a dollar.
I did buy a set of breakaway cables through amazon out of pure anger. But I might just keep them as a back up because why not.
Then again, it works 100% and all I play is clone hero.

The guitar itself is pretty good easy to play lightweight and small, downsides are the strum bar is very bouncy so if you tap it with you thumb too hard it will spring back up and overstrum (reason being why it's only good for casual playing) also the whammy bar has broke on mine and just hangs there whammying every note which is pretty annoying considering I never use the whammy bar and I have looked after this guitar 4 out of 5 seems reasonable, not 100% worth the price of £66, should be like £25-£30 then it'd be worth it.
Buy this guitar if you aren't trying to become the next Acai JasonParadise UKOG or Randy because it will not happen
