I wish I had a faucet in my kitchen that I could turn on and make these chocolate chips come out of. THESE are the ones for the best cookies and for taking a handful when you need a bite of chocolate. They are creamy, milk chocolate and an extra large size. I've had folks ask me why my cookies are so good, and these crazy chocolate chips are part of the secret! Here's my shortbread cookie recipe, which you didn't ask for but should have anyway: 2 cubes organic butter, 1/2 cup organic sugar, 1 teaspoon course sea salt, 1 teaspoon organic almond -- cream this together. Add 1 3/4 cups organic white flour and these chocolate chips to taste. Mix and make good size dough balls. Bake 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until cookies ALMOST start to brown slightly around the edges. Make cookies, not war. Shortbread cookies using THESE chocolate chips have caused peace on earth more than a few times.

I purchased these to melt down and put into Mochas I made at home. Caribou Coffee uses this same brand of chocolate to make their mochas and you can taste it. The only downside I encountered with these was the larger morsel size makes them difficult to melt down into a mocha and since they're intended for baking they already have trouble melting down. Still, the chocolate can be melted down with a little effort and the mocha results are fantastic. I would recommend going to a Caribou Coffee store to buy their fresh beans if you're going to try the same thing.

I ordered these from a different seller than World Wide Chocolate first, and received four solid chunks of chocolate. They shipped without ice and they melted rolling through the desert and then solidified here in coastal California. Not too useful for cookies.
World Wide Chocolate was wise enough to ship with ice. Smart shipper. Thank you.
As for the chocolate, Guittard makes super chocolate, and these sweet chips live up to their standard. Good, really really good. These are what you need to make your cookies pop with flavor. The secret to good food in in the ingredients. Like these chips.

These are the best chocolate chips I’ve ever tasted. I’ve brought them multiple times, and each time, they are just as delicious as the previous time. I bake with them and they come out wonderful. We also eat them straight out of the bag. They are a fabulous chocolate, not cheap tasting, and not overridden with sugar. They don’t hurt your teeth either (if you have sensitive teeth to sugars and such). I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a better quality of chocolate chips.
