I really enjoyed this vampire hunter story and the twist that makes me want to have more of their adventures. "Guns and Fangs" is a novella length, so a quick read when you don't have time for a full blown adventure. A good clean adventure that can be read by adults and teens alike.
Vanessa lost her mom at a young age to a vampire , which made her yearn to destroy them all and the very reason for her becoming a vampire Huntress , so when she meets Anton a Suave , cunning Vampire who inside hates his "After Life" she still pushes him away even after feeling a connection to him, but when she's in trouble will he get there in time to save her ?
This was a Great Halloween romance read , it's novella size at only 70 pages so you can read it in one sitting , while giving out candy to the kids in the neighborhood .
I loved the characters, the author gave them such an instant connection , you immediately wanted them together despite the fact that they should hate each other .I enjoyed how Anton came to Vanessa's rescue even after she turned him away and there was just enough fright and action within the story to make it satisfying .
>This novella is a standalone paranormal romance that ends in an HEA. Anton is a vampire that suffers guilt just from being a vampire. Vanessa is a vampire hunter vowing to eradicate all vampires. Her father was a vampire hunter after her mother was killed by a vampire. When Anton saves Vanessa he tries to show her there are good and bad vampires. Anton's character had a lot more backstory than Vanessa's. Vanessa just seemed full of hatred.
>Vanessa's life change at the hand of Anton is an eye opener for both Vanessa and Anton. The story has a lot of romance along with the suspense of running from the bad vampires targeting them both. I do wonder how Vanessa made a living killing vampires. Where was her source of income?
>I am a reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 5 stars.
