Good, utilitarian bag.
Many aspects of the bag are well thought-out.
Expandable size is useful.
Light weight is beneficial since weight is always an issue on airlines (and even more so for photographers).
Dedicated exterior pocket for iPad.
Dedicated exterior computer pocket.
Front ticket pocket.
Too expensive - feels and looks like a bag costing around $75.00 (versus the Gura Gear Bataflae backpack which feels more expensive).
Shoulder strap far too thin - uncomfortable with any weight in the bag.
Carrying/Hand straps thin, hard and not substantial enough - hurt hand when used to hold bag.
Carrying handled have no buit-in wrap to keep them together and closed. I bought the Cosmos 3 PCS Comfort Neoprene Handle Wraps Cosmos ® 3 PCS Comfort Neoprene Handle Wraps/Grip / Identifier for Travel Bag Luggage Suitcase with Cosmos Fastening Strap to add to the bag to remedy this shortcoming.
Computer compartment not lockable
Dedicated exterior computer pocket nside the handles, so can not be reached without separating handles if handles are closed by after market hand wrap such as Cosmos 3 PCS Comfort Neoprene Handle Wraps wrap or similar.
Fabric looks cheap.
Fabric get dirty easily.
Zippers a bit awkward and bind easily.
Orange Gura Gear logo is too bright (Bataflae grey logo more discreet). I decided to black it out with permanent marker.
Not currently offfered with single row insert allowing bag to be used in zipped/narrower configuration with an insert.
Front, exterior pockets do not unzip all the way around, so some interior areas difficult to reach.
Plastic, see-thourgh windows would be preferable to net windows.
No interior cell phone pocket - only cell phone pocket is on outside of bag.
Interior pocket not ideal size for passport.
Exterior cell phone pocket not in good place - I use it only for Wet Wipes/Hand Wipes/Sanitozers
Front ticket pocket should have flap or zipper for added security.
Again, despite the fact that the list of "Cons" is longer than the list of "Pros", this is a good bag that I will use and would recommend it. With some improvement and a lower price, it would be 5 stars. Maybe a Version II will address some of the above.
