'Putting on my fakest smile, I looked up at Mr. Businessman and asked if he would like his usual bland, boring coffee. I know I shouldn't have used those words, but they slipped out. Sue me.
For the first time ever, I saw a smile on the man's face and it completely changed his appearance.
Shyly, he said, “Yes, thank you. You know, for the usual bland, boring coffee.”
Okay, guys, going in the right direction. Thank goodness Tristan and Ryan iron out some of the misconceptions. I always like to see, um, happy resolutions.
“I looked at you funny because, oh my God, you're beautiful. I couldn't stop staring from the first time I saw you.”
I can't go into a lot of detail abut The Guy in the Coffee Shop as it's only twenty one pages, but it's cute, sweet, has a sex scene with heart, and it just felt nice and light to read. If you want a short bite that is a little sexy, a lot sweet, then The Guy in the Coffee Shop is a terrific shorter novella with uncomplicated characters, no angst or drama, and a nice ending.

That we will have a happily-ever-after is a given, but how we get there is the prize. Well-written and thoroughly enjoyable, this book hooked me from the very beginning and I'll admit I smiled and sighed...a lot.
This was such a sweet little story. I loved Tristan and Ryan. They were perfect for each other and I liked the connection they had.
Was it a little fast? Maybe. I loved that about this, but it might annoy some people. I thought it worked well for the sweetness of the story (and the length).
The ending was perfect! I was left with a big grin on my face.
I'm really liking this authors stories and I hope she continues to write more m/m!
